1. Love discovered and then hired the investigators who uncovered the fraud.
2. Cobain didn't have or lose $750 million, actual losses were $30 million cash. The Real Estate as part of the "Estate" were never his so far as we know.

Because suicides usually OD with about 3x the lethal dose of heroin, have time and the sense of mind to put all the drug paraphernalia back where they belong, shoot themselves in the head, then wipe the prints off the gun (because no one likes a messy suicide weapon).

That adds up quickly. Then take into consideration that it sounds like they were investing in property during the time when property prices went through the roof. It seems like his estate would have been worth a lot of money.
