Most beginner kids music is arranged in soprano/alto instead of sop/alto/tenor/bass (which comes after the kids start hitting puberty). A two-part arrangement is definitely not uncommon for fourth or fifth graders.

I live in Florida and the state legislature is cutting school funds (again). Sadly, music classes and extracurricular music programs are among the first things to be eliminated. I feel like our kids are being deprived of a great experience.
