If you use race as a vehicle, then people will always think about it. Kanye West has millions upon MILLIONS of dollars, hit songs, and anything he could ever want, but we still "need to give a black man a chance." I wish there was a "roll eyes" smillie... You just need that golden popcorn from a fake award show, right?
It's always pissed me off on how rappers rap about how poor they were and how life sucked when they were younger, but they never give back to prevent this for others. If I can quote Rich Boy, "nothing stops traffic like a two million dolla chain." Why would someone need a two million dollar chain? Couldn't he have donated the 2 mill to charity, poor neighbor hoods, a music program? Nope.
Ugh, I just hate this whole "genre" of music, or at least it's mainstream artists.

The ostentatious display is a sign of a serious inferiority complex. Rappers sometimes make piles of cash, but on some level they know that they are completely devoid of talent, and they're afraid that someone might figure out that they're nothing but a fraud, created by a marketing department.
West is incredibly insecure about his lack of any worthwhile skills or talent, which is why he goes ape-***** when he doesn't get an award.

MTV these days is nothing more than a Gramscian socialist driven propaganda machine to rot the brains of the young. It is ironic that Mike Judge who had a show on MTV called Beavis and Butthead, wrote and directed a movie called "Idiocracy" which describes a world inhabited by the kind people who generally watch MTV these days.
