- bashnu, on 08/21/2008, -2/+62The media should simply ignore the *****, forever. He lives for it.
- dtpollitt, on 08/21/2008, -1/+41The new detail is stupid.
- jezsik, on 08/21/2008, -1/+22This is all meaningless anyway. Our ability to remember details during a traumatic event is very hit and miss. Years of reflection and outside influences further distort the memory of the event.
- stonebone4, on 08/21/2008, -0/+21Bury this filth, all he ever wanted was notoriety.
- Methusalah, on 08/21/2008, -1/+19Buried so the bastard doesn't get any more attention.
- RevAradia, on 08/21/2008, -2/+16Seriously. I remember how I heard that he was shot and it still makes me nauseous to think about it.
- dopamyne, on 08/21/2008, -1/+13"his fifth and latest and fifth parole hearing"
wait, how many? - dxgg, on 08/21/2008, -1/+13FTA: "...his request for parole was rejected 'due to concern for the public safety and welfare'."
I wouldn't be so worried about public safety. If Chapman was ever released, he'd be dead before sunset. - normalkid0615, on 08/21/2008, -0/+10Please bury :(
- BaoUnit, on 08/21/2008, -0/+8""I just saw his face and it seemed like it all came together, the solution to my problem of being confused and feeling like a nobody, wouldn't it be something if I killed this individual? I would become famous, I would be something other than a nobody'." And that was my reasoning at the time."
Bury this ***** because he's still a nobody - reed311, on 08/21/2008, -0/+7Sometimes I wish they would let this jerk out just so I could see how long it takes before someone tracks him down and puts an end to him.
- inactive, on 08/21/2008, -0/+7Chapman is a lunatic. Who cares what he has to say?
- mondster, on 08/21/2008, -1/+7I want him off my planet already.
- inactive, on 08/21/2008, -0/+6Lame. People's memory changes over time anyway.
- RevAradia, on 08/21/2008, -1/+7You said it, bashnu. He makes my skin crawl.
- seltaeb4, on 08/21/2008, -0/+6"And I said, 'Wouldn't it be something if I killed this individual? I would become famous, I would be something other than a nobody.'"
Guess again, you failed abortion. - elitistmusician, on 08/21/2008, -5/+10He's a pawn. CIA did it
/tinfoil hat - iancgi, on 08/21/2008, -2/+7He doesnt remember cause he was under mind control.
- inactive, on 08/21/2008, -0/+5it makes me cry
- freezerburn666, on 08/21/2008, -0/+5dontcha know how to read ur read maths!
- dxgg, on 08/21/2008, -0/+4> Our ability to remember details during a traumatic event is very hit and miss.
Actually, we tend to have a heightened awareness when experiencing trauma. Of course, that's for sane people, and wouldn't apply to Chapman. - wibambau, on 08/21/2008, -0/+3cue black helicopters
- kotrin, on 08/21/2008, -1/+4You don't die if you kill 1 person in the right state, if it wasn't John Lennon I'm sure he would have already been out. But in that same state, you will rot in jail forever if you do a drug :)
- Brettus, on 08/21/2008, -0/+3I don't even like the Beatles and I know Lennon was more than just a pop star. That's like saying Martin Luther King Jr. was just a Reverend.
To create a a blanket statement and say liberals are not angry about the murder of 3000 people is silly and shows your arrogance. - LaBella023, on 08/21/2008, -1/+4the scariest part of it all is that he's having parole hearings at all. that POS should be in solitary for the rest of his phony life.
- PhildoVT, on 08/21/2008, -0/+35th + latest + 5th = 11th???
sure... - awtripp, on 08/21/2008, -0/+3***** Chapman. He deserves to be ignored for eternity.
- Th0rus, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2Your a ***** chode. Go watch some more Fox News.
- Th0rus, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2I am so glad all the movies they make about him fail and do poorly. The man wants his name in the papers, that's the reason he did this so why does the press still to this day keep giving him headlines?
- jfowler27, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2I think most people, including liberals and people of other political ideologies, were outraged by the murders on 9/11.
- chokeaduck, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2He's partially in jail for his own well-being. You do realize that if he was released, say tomorrow, he would be dead within 48 hours in the real world, right?
- NexusV2, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2Why even bother submitting a comment then? surely that's just wasting more time...
- homah, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2he schruted it
- rmmcclay, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2This guy's Instant Bad Karma is deep.
- nyx210, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2I don't think he'll ever have to worry about finding one.
- mrfisma, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2Never, never, never say that person's name. Never.
- billizm, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2Up for parole review again in 2010... I say let him out on parole when Lennon gets out on parole. And otherwise, don't print this guy's name or picture in the press.
- keyforce, on 08/21/2008, -1/+3Because he killed a celebrity?
- Brettus, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2Agree. Major toolage.
- 4321234, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2I clicked the link so I could thank the submitter for using the term "John Lennon's murderer" instead of the defective little puke's given name. He killed Lennon in order to become famous. His (it's) name should not be mentioned, ever. Worthless piece of *****. I bury this. Any interest in this article is akin to slowing down at an accident scene, hoping to see gore.
- frobozz0, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2F*ck Mark David Chapman. Any publicity given to this guy is as wasted as his victim's brilliant life. What a waste of protoplasm.
- salome191, on 08/21/2008, -0/+2chapman's a piece of F**king trash. i don't know why anybody gives him the time of day. just ignore the bastard & let him rot in prison for the rest of his miserable life.
- AndrewMoyer, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1It's sad to think that such an advocate of peace was gunned down so coldly. This really is a cruel world.
I'm burying this because this turd burglar doesn't deserve the spotlight. - LaBella023, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1John Lennon was so much more then that. the fact that he WAS a celebrity made his cause greater bc more people were able to listen. More celebrities today need to learn a few things from him and use they're popularity for something other then nonsense.
- djholybolt, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1Cue SWAT, CIA
- Narcism, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1Citation needed?
He's repeatedly requesting parole. And that's awful nice of a jail/panel of adjudicators to grant him that "favor" - vmcolombo, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1"And I said, 'Wouldn't it be something if I killed this individual? I would become famous, I would be something other than a nobody'. And that was my reasoning at the time."
Yep, now you're a nobody who killed somebody. Congratulations you waste of flesh. - ATLien74, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1I thought this dick was dead... well I'm burying him anyways.
- brownspank, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1Your nevers are cancelling each other out. I'm confused.
- koolgiy, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1Then wouldn't you be as bad as he is? He shot Lennon because Lennon brought anger to him - one reason was that Lennon would freely say he didn't believe in god, or the Beatles. Chapman brought on emotional problems because of Lennon (Lennon didn't do it himself, Chapman took what Lennon said and spun it his own way).
So by shooting Chapman, you are shooting someone who brought you anger and emotional stress (because you love John Lennon). So wouldn't you be just as bad as Chapman? -
