Carter Family FTW!
- orangekid13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13wow I'd forgotten how crappy quality vhs quality was
- JoJoMoMo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10John Denver gives me those warm fuzzy goosebumps.
- L4WL3RS34L, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8***** you.
- le0pard, on 10/10/2007, -9/+16I know I'll get dugg down for this, but country music rocks :D
- andregriffin, on 10/10/2007, -5/+12A blank tape is $1.99. A John Denver tape is 99 cents.
- likeyehokwhatev, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8John Denver + Johnny Cash = Classic = Dugg
- heilig, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6video or it didnt happen
- 5thColumn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I like the Johnny Cash / Bob Dylan Duets better. http://youtube.com/watch?v=NPpxwjsP76E
- Neiby, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I listened to a lot of John Denver when I was growing up especially as I was learning to play acoustic guitar. The dude was a killer songwriter (at least in the early years), had an awesome, clear voice with perfect intonation, and he was a very good guitar player. There are still a few of his songs that I really enjoy listening to. It's too bad mainstream music sucks ass so bad now. There needs to be more people of this quality in the mainstream like they used to be.
- heilig, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5bing crosby / david bowie ?
- Tippx, on 10/10/2007, -7/+11That John Denver is full of ***** man
- DrJack, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Mozart and Haydn used to play together every now and then. If only Mozart had lived a few more years there probably would have been times when the two of them were joined by Beethoven.

- stevecole, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3There was no camera pull out because they were up to their knees in empties.
- pbuschma, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I loved the slightly altered harmonies. very impressive
- VdgX, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I have a secret collection of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and various others. >_> Whenever my friends find them they always give me hell about it.
- dangerz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Just beautiful.
- T8erT0T, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Real nice. Two greats making tunes.
P.S John Denver looked like John Ritter. Or vice versa, - phunlee, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Country music does rock. It's some of the best stuff America ever created.
Not what's on today, of course. NOT CMT, etc.. the good stuff is timeless and thank God it always will be. :) - artofwar420, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I'll agree with you, I like the old stuff a million times more than the new stuff. Even though I don't prefer it, I do enjoy some Johnny Cash, from time to time. And W. Nelson too.
- GabeUtsecks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Can there be a better duet? How about Paul Simon and George Harrison:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3LJ28o2jj0 - zephc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Sure, if you want to dig him up.
He'd probably still look better than Keith Richards... - TrevorBelmont, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Still, better than YouTube!
- quomen, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2RIP Cash/Denver
- revdrtomb, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I like Denver, but the two styles don't mix comfortably. I would have enjoyed hearing Cash sing that alone ... he brings such soul to the vocal.
- danielce, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I must agree with you, but not that duet.... This one; http://youtube.com/watch?v=Hvuijyz6Yac
- Hermitwise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Really, no Hendrix?
- superal1394, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1How bout all of the worlds great (living) guitarists on a stage?
that would be sweet. I would probably have a heart attack if I saw Clapton, Slash, Buckethead, Matt Belamey, Santana, Jimmy Paige and Van Halen on the same stage - Rambo78, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Logged in to digg...love it.
- artofwar420, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yes, yes, yes.
- Dirtydog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1hmm not bad.

- Hermitwise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1haah oops I read that wrong, digg me down.
- Thrilltone, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Johnny Cash did a stunning job with Trent Reznor's 'Hurt' .
That video makes you think about death
... and I find it scary - dansvan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I just recently found this. I grew up with Denver (and Cash, sort of) and this is a real treat.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3The best duet ever = Jimi Henrix + Dave Gilmour
Two completely different styles of playing guitar it would definitely be interesting. - dubjah, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I think the Johnny Cash/Satchmo duet is better than those listed above.

This was recorded about 9 months before the world lost Louis Armstrong. You just can't beat the energy. - artofwar420, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Nahh..
- STARTSOMETHING, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I thought the rocky mountains would be a little more rocky than this
- Hollyweird, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1great song. Love the Hermes House Band version.
- anonatron, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Why didn't John Denver take a shower before getting on the plane?
He figured he would just wash up on shore!
My dad loves John Denver so I tell hiim that joke every time he has one of his songs on. - asa400, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1What we have here is a dilemma. Do I digg for Johnny Cash or bury for John Denver?
Dugg for JC. - Bigryan, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1not good! Both of these men are classic awesome artists. But they did not mix together well. Simon would call this utter crap. Me... just mediocre. buried for being meh...
- rainbowrandolph, on 10/10/2007, -15/+2Still glad his plane crashed.
