- noupsell, on 07/12/2009, -0/+11imo this story is amazing... makes you wonder how many others get written off every day if they had listened to their doctors, left their loved ones to waste away, unstimulated and listless in some care facility. Pays to have ppl around you that really care about you.
- GregR, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4pause it for a moment to fix the problem
- UrbenLegend, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Why's the audio out of sync?
- mrjit, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3This is incredibly humbling.
- basickly, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3I had tears streaming down my face...
I haven't cried since... I don't know, it's been literally like 10 years.
That was HEAVY. I don't think I've ever been so moved. - GregR, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2It's great to see that he is spreading the word that there's hope to others so they can hopefully help themselves recover.
The power of the human spirit is amazing. This was long but well worth it. - freakydingo, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2Saw this on PBS a few nights ago. Crazy. When it began I assumed that Jason eventually died. His progression is incredible; I had no idea that it was possible to come back like that. Wonderful family he has, to say the least.
- lanzemurdok, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2This absolutely captivated me. Truly beautiful and inspiring.
- Liability, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2...wow
- RickCarstens, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2jason was a fighter and his family was his strength... and i am proud he made it.. god bless him
- jmdwinter, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1It's an amazing story but I thought the video was too melodramatic in its presentation. Sometimes all you need is the facts to be moved. Just my opinion.
- B4life2, on 07/29/2009, -0/+0I am sure there are many unfortunately. It all depends on whether you are willing to love sacrificially which is the highest form of love. Many times the weak are perceived as a burden and it's seems like the easy way out to abandon them rather than to go out of our way to assist them. This story really does show how powerful love is and that it does bear all things. It's a real love story.
- B4life2, on 07/29/2009, -0/+0This story illustrates the power of family love. I couldn't help comparing Jason's story to Terri Schiavo's and how it could have ended happily if the courts had allowed her family to care for her instead of her husband, who abandoned her after he received the legal settlement, to determine her fate---death by dehydration.
