- labantnet, on 11/16/2009, -1/+2I guess you forgot that big people start out as little people/ They are typically called Children. around the age of 5-6 they begin school, and can easily be held back a grad or more if they do not show that they can cope with the next grade. Seriously, did you really think I was referring to 9th-10th graders?
Also, I would gather that in the years I did have a job, We (my wife and I) gave around 2-3 grand to multiple different charities through out each year. Books donations, those miracle balloon things, Salvation Army kettles, All that *****. It's not that I don't care, it's that I don't care about 3rd world nations. I have to admit I'm tempted though; then again I haven't lost all empathy toward other humans because I couldn't afford my 9th grade books.
They told you that you failed the 8th grade because your parent's couldn't afford books for 9th grade? It sounds like a really hard situation though, since all the 10th graders want so desperately to keep their books and the whole 9th grade class was relying on you to attain one. And having a school library so ***** they don't even buy a copy of the book that student's can use without checking out. On top of all that they haven't even broke down and bought a copy machine yet. As though that wasn't enough the MPAA is cracking down on downloading anything illegal from the internet so you were pretty much screwed as far as finding anything there to help you either.
