- ohnoerino, on 11/13/2008, -0/+12Twisted Sister, FTW!
- nahsrocketeer75, on 11/13/2008, -0/+9This has stocking stuffer for the wife written all over it. Thanks.
- acmaurer, on 11/13/2008, -0/+6...but i like bing crosby. michael buble, not so much.
- ScottMcIntyre, on 11/13/2008, -0/+5Billy Idol does 'Frosty the Snowman'? Rock the festivities! ;-)
- Bukowsky, on 11/13/2008, -0/+4I love how New Kids on the Block's X-mas album makes the list!

Haji was a punk just like any other boy...
I never understood why KROQ always plays the No Doubt version during the holidays instead of the original. Speaking of KROQ, the Kevin and Bean Christmas cds are full of great tracks. You can find them pretty cheap on ebay. - silvershadow21, on 11/14/2008, -0/+3If you ever get a chance to see them live, I'd highly recommend it. They put on a stunning performance.
- 8fans, on 11/14/2008, -0/+3Fear doing a heartwarming little number called
***** CHRISTMAS!

They want as much of your money as possible in case you get laid off in the new year. don't play their game.
what will you think of your alternative jinglecrap album when you need money to pay the bills? - KingBroseph, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Don't forget Sufjan Stevens Christmas albums.
- kthxbai85, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Could someone please give this list to all the local banks and stores so we don't have to listen to "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire............" 900 times while we shop before Christmas?
- chas46, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2 Mannheim rules.
- RiMac, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Oh my Christ, not liking Christmas music is no excuse for listening to Twisted Sister.
- stonebear, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2How did they overlook Bob Rivers?
http://www.rhapsody.com/bobrivers/twistedchristmas - inactive, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Dio and Iommi's version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman is supreme Christmas metal.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNYofHsCcAY - rustyhodge, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Don't forget "Xmas in Frisko" from SomaFM. All your wacky and non-traditional holiday music rolled together. We re-launched it a week ago.
- mehtheinfernal, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1I *heart* SomaFM!
- atomic811, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Madonna has been exercising vigorously to play the Grinch.
- mehtheinfernal, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1I only know of them because of this old thing:

the only thing I like about xmas is the empty streets, so quiet. - PopcornDave, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Buried for not including "A Lump of Coal" in this list. Henry Rollins' "Night Before Christmas" is a classic.
- manteca29, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1I knew this would be posted as soon as i saw the original story.
- aerobroken, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1Dugg for Twisted Sister... Well and all the good tunes too..
- andytronic, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1"It's like he's gargling with angels' tears"
- blackturtleus, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Here's a rather cynical little YouTube post called "Xmas Blues" that included the following lines:
The joy is just so artificial it makes me want to puke
Shove that virgin Mary stuff up your Matthew, Mark, and Luke!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcgYRf6d0Hc - StinkyHobo, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Seriously! It's probably the best Xmas album ever!
- exspasticcomics, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1unfortunately his site is no longer up... but there was a one man band called 'velcro mary' -great band.. but once in awhile he'd pretend to be somebody called ' jonathan rogers' & put out an albums worth of some of the most god awful christmas music every. bad keyboard playing & horrid vocals- it was great... i hate christmas music so much.
- xhero0, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1My Fav is the crypt keeper's Christmas!
http://www.amazon.com/Tales-Crypt-Yourself-Little- ... - Prod_Deity, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Granted it's rather traditional, I still prefer Zakk's rendition of White Christmas.

- drexl, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Blink 182- I won't be home for Christmas
- obliviousfool, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1I used to have this Reggae Christmas CD that was quite good, but I can't for the life of me remember what was on it or what the cover looked like.
- Shoogle, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1The ORIGINAL Billy Idol Xmas CD cover is here, and it's even more horrific than the one in the article: http://www.amazon.com/Happy-Holidays-Special-Chris ... I actually bought this as an impulse gift for a friend a couple of years ago ($8). It's painful to listen to, but it's fun to pull out and play once in a while when you wanna make your guests cringe. And that cover photo! All dressed up, one hand resting on the piano keyboard, looking so wholesome... It's a riot.
- Stumped, on 11/14/2008, -0/+0What about Weird Al's Christmas At Ground Zero and The Night Santa Went Crazy. They are classic.
- inactive, on 04/05/2009, -0/+0Yo music http://www.yomuzik.net Yo Music
- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+0Love the inclusion of the Vandals "Oi to the World" on the list...classic.
The 70's british ska artist Judge Dread had some hilarious "dirty Santa songs...check out his version of "Jingle Bells" - mhummel, on 11/14/2008, -0/+0The elves are dressed in leather
The angels are in chains
The sugar plums are rancid
The stockings are in flames
There'll be no Christmas 'cause it's Evils holiday! - guildford, on 11/14/2008, -0/+0I was 100% sure that this would be posted :)
