- decepticrat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Dude, I love the Hard Rock Cafe! My wife and I have been to nearly 30 HRCs in almost every state in the union, one in Mexico, one the Bahamas, we stay at the HR Hotel in Orlando at least once a year too! Heh, we even had our wedding reception at the classic Hard Rock Cafe in NYC! So yeah, If they made a Hard Rock retirement home, I'd sign up immediately!

1. Nobody stole your avatar. In fact, who are you?
2. Have you ever even submitted a story to digg, let alone made it to the front page? If not, how would you expect me, let alone anyone else know you exist?
3. It's Starscream, the decepticon. Did you create him?
4. They're not even the same picture. Is yours even a transformer?
5. ....
6. Thanks for stopping by! :) - 0U8I2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5As long as they have an Edward Van Halen statue somewhere in their park, I am happy.
- blackbeltbones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Wow! I'm a total theme-park hound dog, so I can't wait for this park to open up. Then good ol' BlackBelt and family can chill out somewhere in *Rock & Roll Heaven*! Hey, I wonder if can get KISS to play there? They could get them reenact the whole *Phantom of the Park* concert with the evil robot KISS impostors! Ha!
- decepticrat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You mean the one with Ace Frehley's *ahem* african american stunt double?!? Bwahhhhaaa! harraa!!! haaa!1!one!! Did they really think we wouldn't notice through the makeup? Thanks BBB, that filled my laugh quota for the day!
- 07734HELLO, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Heh, I don't remember too much about that movie, but I know I totally loved evil Kiss! And Gene scared me as a child. loll!
"Rip Rip, Rip and Destroy! You know the hours gettin' late!"
But yeah, I'd definitely go check out a Hard Rock theme park. If it's anything like their hotels, then it's gotta be cool. I freakin' loved their swimming pool with the underwater music, and the bitchin' water slide! - empressofmetal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ooh, yes, please sign me up for the Hard Rock retirement home!!!
- allaboutdatiki, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5The end is near! What's next, HR retirement homes?
- decepticrat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3My wife and I have been planning a pilgrimage to the KISS coffee shop (as we're insanely HUGE kiss fans!), and now with this park opening up we'll have more than enough reason to make it happen.
- MaxwellsMac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4As a Myrtle Beach resident I can tell you that we are looking at this new park with both trepidation and anticipation. In the 15 years I've been here there have been numerous ventures that have been hailed as the next great thing to bring more tourists to our beaches including, Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, and numerous theaters in the vein of Branson, MO. Most have failed but a few have made it. The biggest problem is we don't have an interstate that comes all the way here and our airport pretty much sucks! However, we do have a KISS coffee shop that kicks some serious ass besides the fact that a coffee is probably like 10 bucks.
- SinisterDexter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Where in Myrtle Beach is this going? If it's anywhere near Broadway At the Beach(I think that's what that Mecca of Comercialism is called) it will probably make it harder to get places.
Oh, on a side note, did the Pavilion really close down? - PalmettoXIII, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The park is being built at the old Waccamaw Pottery shopping center, and yes, the Pavilion is gone. Torn done, too. No big loss, though. The place was little more than a county fair.
- SinisterDexter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@PalmettoXIII
Well I'm glad I got to ride that wooden coaster then.
I do wish that a major highway went anywhere near Mytrle Beach though. - luckytopher, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I'm sure the RIAA will find a way to make this unenjoyable and a hassle as well..
- MarkusJNZ, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1How about a http://diazolizi.com {black metal} horror show?
- tvpopstar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is sweet, a theme park I can actually drive too! That rocks! 5 TVPopStars Up!
- meshman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"The 6-city promotional tour, dubbed The Hard Rock Park Road to Myrtle Beach Tour, will be a traveling exhibition headlined by The Beatles‘ famed Magical Mystery Tour Bus"
What do the beatles and elvis have to do with hard rock? - GregTMills, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2How is this going to be a good thing?
- skyywalker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I live in North Myrtle Beach for nearly 15 years now. I cannot wait for this park. I grew up in Ohio, where there are parks a plenty! The Pavilion, may it rest in peace, was just a big waste of space-hence the reason it is kaput! Any-Who, with the Main Street connector going in...The Hard Rock Park will be a quick 30 minute jump down the street-I may actually see about working there! Bring on the Park and the millions more tourists...(btw...I am a bartender, so I love all those people!)
- SinisterDexter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As long as The Gay Dolphin remains untouched, I'll be a happy happy panda.
Oh, and Minotaur Goff. Can't forget that. - Reylas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Isn't the pavilion being moved to Broadway at the Beach? I thought I read that they had bought it and was moving it there as some sort of museum/theme park.
- raider82, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No hoax! Check out http://hardrockparkblog.com/ for more info.
- ddotbach, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is a hoax. The Hard Rock website has nothing on it.
- BassCadet, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Who is this joker who stole my avatar? I've had this one for over a year now.
- haggie, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2You'll never go broke building a place for white trash to congregate. Just ask Florida...
