- inactive, on 07/12/2009, -2/+23Awesome interview.
- riverstyx, on 07/13/2009, -1/+21Gwar was the only real concert I went to see, this was only about 4 years back. I've been listening to them since around 1995 when I was about 15 or so. It was great, I made sure to get there early and get right up in front. I obviously didn't know what to expect, but after they came onstage I was literally crushed and had the wind knocked out me. Devildriver was one of the bands to play before them, anyway after about 10 minutes I got to crowd surf and ended up right next to Beefcake. He even gave me a handshake too and I spent most of the rest of the concert there, met this really drunk chick and just had a great time. Oderus even came right up to me and sprayed me in the face with his dick, his eyes looked Really really scary! Oh and at the end of the show, one of their slaves gave me a bottle of something, im guessing it was gatorade..It didnt have a label.
So yeah, if you get the chance to see them live, do it!! They were the only show I went to see and I dont think anyone can top them. Be warned though: You will get messy from the on-stage show and props, so do not wear any clothes that you dont mind getting stains in them. See ya! - Killmaster, on 07/13/2009, -0/+17Last time I saw GWAR live, I came home blue from being covered in monster blood of some sort.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 07/13/2009, -1/+16Is he going to walk around on stage with a massive, over-compensating plastic dildo strapped to his groin to piss on the cameras?
- TheDudeDean, on 09/13/2009, -0/+13That's how you should always come home from a GWAR show.
- ewicki, on 07/13/2009, -1/+14GWAR are awesome, and Odorus being on Fox News was pretty nifty, but nothing tops this clip of Joan Rivers interviewing GWAR: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWRKlNlRsgI
- LenBaird, on 07/13/2009, -0/+12He had to make sure everyone knows that he "gets it."
- SKLOKAZOID, on 07/13/2009, -0/+11Did the host really have to laugh that loud and that often?
- diggerpleez, on 07/13/2009, -0/+11Same here... at the show I went to they had a giant meat grinder on stage. They kept putting girls from the audience into it and something that looked ground beef would go shooting out the side. It was a hell of an experience.
- macbookbill, on 07/13/2009, -2/+13Oderus even came right up to me and sprayed me in the face with his dick.....
And you're trying to convince me to go? - sgtstumpy, on 07/13/2009, -3/+14Does anyone else feel that Greg Gutfeld's insane laugh and forced enthusiasm are more disturbing than anything GWAR could possibly come up with?
- bermudianguy, on 07/13/2009, -1/+11I hate Fox but GWAR I don't hate so it balances out.
- yearofglad, on 07/13/2009, -2/+12You'd have to be insane to sit around and listen to GWAR albums at home, but if you EVER get the chance to see them live - GO. Wear old, trashable clothes, and prepare for fun.
- ChuckDees, on 07/13/2009, -0/+9I saw gwar with the meatmen once.
Very interesting crowd that showed up for that one. - LenBaird, on 07/13/2009, -0/+9Absolutely right. They are fantastic in concert. They combine violence, sex, and tastelessness in a very funny and intelligent way... I know that doesn't sound possible, but that's why it's so awesome when you see it happen lol.
Don't take any of it seriously, and be prepared to be offended if you do. - akchrs, on 07/13/2009, -6/+14<Olbermann frantically calling Beaker from Sesame St.>
- pstroll, on 07/13/2009, -4/+12I went to a GWAR show 20 years ago.
- RodgerE1, on 07/13/2009, -1/+8Dugg for Gwar making the front page and Dugg for Fox News for having him!!
- tkeajax, on 07/13/2009, -1/+8If you haven't been to a GWAR show I feel sorry for you. I"m not a metalhead, but I've been to almost 10 shows. I even got to hang backstage with Slymenstra Hymen after a show. You should really go to a show before they retire (they are old). Don't wear anything nice. Take your Christian friends with you as well. GWAR is the true spirit of metal.
- wtbuser, on 07/13/2009, -3/+10I love Red Eye. I wish Fox News was like Red Eye all day long.
- MikeyMoose, on 07/13/2009, -0/+6Shlock?
- twiztidsinz, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5Would that make Bill O's Beefcake the Mighty?
- nik15, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4I was hoping for Beefcake the Mighty to pop out and kill the host
- killdashnine, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Not enough blood though ...
- mattwalton56, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCNYK_9hKDk
- williemain, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4One time my friend invited me to a GWAR show. I thought I was going to have real life sexual relations with a girl instead so I did not go.
Long story short: there was no sexual relations and I should have gone to the show. - Pillage, on 07/13/2009, -4/+8Red Eye is by far the greatest show on at 3 am
- badfrog, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfBYIrQ_bik
"This is your ass... And I'm in it." Funniest GWAR line ever. - blacklilyninja, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Gwar cd's are *****... GWAR shows... ARE the *****.
you have to be at one to full get the scope of the mess ..and the AWESOMENESS - omgTHEPATRIOTS, on 07/13/2009, -2/+5It's like Fox News now has Morbo as one of their correspondents!
- GlueSniffer, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3Sexcuse me. What good is digg, unless it is tempered..with limitless GWAR! BRING ON MORE GWAR! Digg needs a gwar only section.. That would be sexcellent!
- EvilGrouse, on 07/13/2009, -1/+4All hail your new lords and masters, GWAR. Been a fan for almost 20 years. Long live GWAR!
- grey580, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3Welcome to "Entertainment And Earth Invasion Tonite". Across the galaxy my people are completing the mighty space fleet that will exterminate the human race! But first, this news from Tinseltown.
Morbo demands comments! - nullx42, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro3vG9BBYcI
- fragMasterFlash, on 07/13/2009, -3/+6Behold the most awesome thing GWAR ever did:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO-wAfvIF3s - Kronos6948, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3Wow...like Kiss were the first to wear makeup and perform on stage...kabuki ring a bell?
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -1/+4Honestly I would rather sit around listening to the entire GWAR discography than listen to one KISS record.
- Starks, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3INTERGALACTIC!
- Gazthrak, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2One of the greatest things , IMO, about GWAR shows is that they almost never stop playing their instruments and seem to improvise between songs a lot to reflect the mood.
Shows the musicianship they possess. - akchrs, on 07/13/2009, -2/+4Same could be said for a Britney Spears concert.
- pcgecko85, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2I once witnessed him kill George W. Bush. I wonder if Fox would approve.
- twiztidsinz, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3"Wear old, trashable clothes, and prepare for fun....
...and blood...
...and semen..."
Fixed it. - EvilJelloMan, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2For better or worse, the show he's appearing on isn't a "news show". It's a comedy show. Now, whether a comedy show belongs on a "news" network we can debate, but comparing the show to Dan Rather is pretty dumb.
- Slackdragon, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2Would that make Ann Coulter Slymenstra Hymen?
- jambla, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3I used to love the song "Sick of You" as a kid! Youtube video--> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO-wAfvIF3s
- EpicSelekta, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3Maybe this explains the whole Fox News crew - after all, Greta van Susteren looks suspiciously similar to Balsac the Jaws of Death.
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2Sorry *****, but some things are timeless.
- LilJimmyNordin, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1PLANETARY!
- LilJimmyNordin, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1Troll.
