blog.wired.com — Modern guitarists have a new option when it comes to learning their instrument. Chord books and music lessons still sell, but for visual learners, the best option is probably the video tutorial. There are several online options, but we really like iVideosongs' approach.

- jggube, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1When I first tried self-teaching myself to play the guitar, I went to Youtube, rented DVD's on Netflix, and just watched how people play. I think it's a more effective way of learning something, compared to just reading a guitar book or a magazine.
