- amanilaenvelope, on 07/05/2009, -0/+10But was he really that great? He was, to an extent, a catalyst towards the demise of the Beatles.
Plus, he doesn't sound that great of a guy. - twiztidsinz, on 07/05/2009, -1/+10Someone's Takin' care of business and workin' overtime...
- seanhive, on 07/05/2009, -1/+9No, stop saying coincidence. Anyone dying in the business right now is going to have the light shined on them. Terrible but stop spriting around like a bunch of hens.
- markf3388, on 07/05/2009, -0/+7Yoko was the catalyst toward the demise of the beatles!!
*shakes fist in air* YOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! - EndouOuto, on 07/05/2009, -0/+7Did anyone actually know about him? He was a real prick. At least he is roasting in hell now.
- Khast, on 07/05/2009, -2/+8From the sounds of him, he was the beginning of the RIAA's tactics....
Anyways, RIP

- Soleanthia, on 07/05/2009, -0/+5Power trip?
- leamanc, on 07/05/2009, -1/+6In every bio of the Stones or the Beatles, he pretty much comes across as a major prick.
There were a lot of things breaking up the Beatles in 1969 and 1970, but Klein can't take a whole lot of blame for it. Yes, McCartney didn't like him, but McCartney wasn't in sync with the rest of the band at all, and his squabbles with Klein were just another reason for him to quit the Beatles, effectively breaking up the band. - monodelasno, on 07/05/2009, -0/+4And subsequently the Beatles all sued Klein.
- paulmer2003, on 07/05/2009, -1/+5Frankly, meh. He wasn't an artist - he was a businessman.
Who cares? - STBAT25, on 07/05/2009, -0/+3Lennon also voted for him because McCartney wanted his father in law to take control of the finances and Lennon thought he'd get screwed over.
- hankthedwarf, on 07/05/2009, -0/+3Good, this guy was a total piece of *****. Read up on him.
- schavira, on 07/05/2009, -0/+3John Belushi playing Ron Decline, an Allen Klein sendoff, in Eric Idle's The Rutles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdjZSb0S7ZU

- Garofoli, on 07/05/2009, -0/+3Dugg for Deathnote.
- Garofoli, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Farrah Fawcett died first.
- momsshizzle, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Allen wasn't good.
- xXGrimreapaXx, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Grim reaper You couldn't take someone more deserving? Ie. Soulja Boy, TPain...Bill O'Reilly?
- vurdillac, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Oh ***** Angela Lansbury died? Another celebrity? Why?? It's seriously so sad what's going on with death- you never know who's going to be next.
- odetonarwhal, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2I NEED MORE DEATH
- dafragsta, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2OK, that's it!
- vurdillac, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Alejandro Jodorowsky's voodoo finally worked.
- darthbutcher, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Everybody, get to the cellar. NOW!
- rmmcclay, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1RIP, even though Allen was a scumbag. Like what he did with the films of Alejandro Jodorowsky.
- kentrung, on 07/05/2009, -3/+4THE *****?
- stockjones, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Maybe Death is trying to tell you something.
- schavira, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Neither individual is really too great but I don't really think death is the right answer. I also don't think reviving Allen Klein is in anybody's best interest. Did you even know who Allen Klein was before you saw this on digg? Just because somebody is associated with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones does not make them great. That would be like mourning Murry Wilson or Joe Jackson (whenever that happens).
- dafragsta, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Please, the next time someone dies, I think I'm going to lose my ***** and start serial killing anyone who says any resembling the following:
"Yeah, who's going to be the next to die?"
"...but seriously this is sad."
"Why are celebrities dying?!?"
"What the hell is going on with death recently!?"
You're all a bunch of ***** tools. People die ALL THE TIME. It's a statistical certainty that YOU will die. Just because enough people know the person's name enough to make the news, it doesn't have any correlation with any trend. You dumb *****. Seriously. Nothing has pissed me off recently as much as watching a bunch of fair weather mourners just having a grand old time trying to be Angela ***** Lansbury. - inactive, on 07/05/2009, -1/+2YOU'RE, dumbasse.
- DouglasQ, on 07/05/2009, -2/+3Damn it, whose next?!
- IamNomad, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1gives a
- schavira, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Not really, at all. Stop trying to make comparisons based off things you've read on digg; just because it's crowd pleasing does not make it true. He still was a pretty terrible person though, I definitely will admit. He screwed over publishing for the Beatles and basically drove what was left of Apple into the ground.
- inactive, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1This guy was not a major celebrity. Or even a minor, c-list celebrity, for that matter.
Pipe down. - Agentdvd, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1He would do fine as well.
- borez, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Michael Jackson's started a new trend.
- borez, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1I dugg you up, but now I feel strange, watched even.
I didn't mean it...honest. - thedez, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1At least he lived long enough to see old age.
- DaryLintheDark, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1he must have been slacking in previous years, got quotas to meet or he might get fired.
- inactive, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1I'm not under the impression that anyone from that era is a spring chicken or anything, but it's still kinda weird to think of close associates of the Beatles and Stones being old enough to die of Alzheimer's.
- schavira, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1To my knowledge the RIAA, the organization, has never managed or handled the publishing of any single recording act. That is certainly not their purpose nor has it ever been and comparisons between them and Allen Klein are completely out of scope; they are/were two different kinds of entities. Allen Klein was an individual; the RIAA is an organization comprised of the four major record labels and others. If you want to say both are evil sure go ahead but that doesn't really mean what they did respectively were similar at all. They both may have done very bad things but those bad things are differ completely between each party. I hate to invoke accusations of "sheep"/"conformist"/etc. mentality but seriously, please do know what you're talking about before trying to make a point, don't just post things based off of what you have learned on digg.
- pe5t1lence, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1OMG HE IS THE THIRD!! IT ALWAYS COMES IN THREES!!!
/idiocy - RickCarstens, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1its a end of Beatles era completely
