- tkilgore04, on 02/19/2009, -1/+33What a shame, that reunion would have been Epic.
- TheCash, on 02/19/2009, -1/+29Didn't he have a cameo in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey?
- movienut257, on 02/19/2009, -0/+17Mr. Bungle needs a reunion tour!!!
- callmeQ, on 02/18/2009, -0/+14youuuu waaaant it alllll but you can't have it....
- wpc33, on 02/19/2009, -0/+14"What a *****."
-Sir James Martin, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
STATIOOONNN!!! - IgorUnchained, on 02/18/2009, -2/+16Trey and Dean were great guitarists, but Jim Martin was the best FNM guitarist ever. I loved the red shades and the Marsha Brady part in his hair.
Did you know that he grew one of the largest pumpkins EVER? Look it up.
Mike Patton IS God....but Jim Martin is not of this earth either. - minnymoo, on 02/19/2009, -1/+14Must be some sort of a Midlife Crisis.
- userbl1360, on 02/19/2009, -1/+12Their plans are really Falling to Pieces
- inactive, on 02/19/2009, -0/+11I still feel sorry for the fish
- barryiggins, on 02/19/2009, -1/+10the Kwik-e Mart is really... *d'oh*!
- wpc33, on 02/19/2009, -1/+10They may have denied Jim, but We Care A Lot
- cryonix, on 02/19/2009, -0/+7You just blew my mind. I looked him up again, he voiced:
-Anger sphere in Portal
-Zombies in L4D
-Bionic Commando
-"Monsters" in I am Legend
Knowing that, I totally hear it in every instance. - ProfessorRiffs, on 02/19/2009, -1/+9There's nothing inexplicable about it... Jim and the rest of the band simply stopped getting along a long time ago.
- tbranham, on 02/19/2009, -0/+8Still my all-time favorite band! In fact, I think I'll listen to some Faith No More right now...
- mywhitenoise, on 02/19/2009, -1/+8They're doing a reunion!?
but what the *****? Ya gotta have Jim in there! - decoy9697, on 02/19/2009, -0/+7Why do you bother? The band basically said "Get Out".
I've got that feeling that it would be a small victory if Mike Patton was just a man about this. These are new beginnings for all of them, and it's not easy for Jim when from out of nowhere everything's ruined for him. - satori3000, on 02/19/2009, -0/+7Angel Dust is my all time favorite album, this tour without Martin will be lacking, but I'd still go see it.
- philosoraptor83, on 02/19/2009, -0/+7Jim Martin is my first cousin. I see him three times a year. I'll give him a call and ask him what he thinks about this. Knowing him, he probably doesn't give a *****.
- FurryToaster, on 02/19/2009, -1/+8You say you don't like Jim Martin? Go listen to "Woodpecker from Mars" and then repent.
- lowtolerance, on 02/19/2009, -1/+8I hate douchebags like you. You don't have to know the specifics of the band's history to appreciate the music.
- lowtolerance, on 02/19/2009, -0/+7Tell your cousin he's been one of favorite guitarists since I was eight years old.
- zephc, on 02/19/2009, -1/+7They really Bungled that one, Mister!
- SOaDaholic, on 02/19/2009, -0/+6Is this reunion The Real Thing?
- ewild01, on 02/19/2009, -0/+6If you ask me, FNM is digging the grave by excluding Jim . The records after AD are evidence of the fact that the band has been falling to pieces ever since Jim departed. Mike Patton needs to stop acting like he was in Kindergarten, decide to bring Jim back and be aggressive in pursuing him. Please do it Mike. We care a lot.
- skyshock1, on 02/19/2009, -1/+7sidenote: Steve Vai recorded all the "guitar whiddles" for those movies.
- ihatepeterh, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5A reunion without Jim Martin would be A Small Victory, at best.
- Conguent, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5Is there any Evidence of this reunion?
- praisethelard, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5No, he's got it inside-out.
- ollersmom, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5We used to live across the street from Chuck Mosely about a year ago.
He's still using heroin regularly, and pretty much spends most of his time hanging out on his porch with all the neighborhood latchkey kids. - satori3000, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5at the beginning, yes
- techmaster, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5Mike Patton must be having a midlife crisis...
- RegalBegal, on 02/19/2009, -1/+6Man i'd love to check out this reunion. Jim Martin however was the ***** MAN. While I've not read the article and while I enjoy most of what Mike Patton puts on record, I'm sure Patton's ego is getting in the way causing this. It's a shame, really. As talented as Patton is, he's a ***** prick.
*Puts on Angel Dust* - smashingmonkey, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5For me, Bungle>Faith No More>Fantomas
- techmaster, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5Dude that was nearly 20 years ago. I don't think fish have that long of a life span.....
OF COURSE IT DIED! - Jamiekin, on 02/19/2009, -0/+5I have Faith No More.
- mywhitenoise, on 02/19/2009, -4/+9Zombie Eaters.
- JasPruett, on 02/19/2009, -0/+4For real, I saw the MTV interview and they said that it died.
- mywhitenoise, on 02/19/2009, -0/+4Faith No More was the greatest metal band of all time (one of the very few I still enjoy), in my opinion.
- skyshock1, on 02/19/2009, -1/+5WTF. Jim Martin is _AWESOME_.
Guess I won't be seeing this tour. - dafragsta, on 02/19/2009, -0/+4I guess they don't care a lot.
- ChronicColonic, on 02/19/2009, -0/+4I guess they drank their Last Cup of Sorrow.
- CoreyHalliwell, on 02/19/2009, -0/+3lol they actually hate performing that song... i'd imagine its because they have better material... and they do...
- twiztidsinz, on 02/19/2009, -1/+4Epic is EPIC!!
- smashingmonkey, on 02/19/2009, -0/+3I'm not going to digg you down for expressing personal preference, but I think Patton took that band from good to great.
- inactive, on 02/19/2009, -0/+3Martin's solo on Everything's Ruined is one of my favs and in the video he's hilarious, just being him.
STATION!!! - smashingmonkey, on 02/19/2009, -0/+3"They kicked me out of the band"
As a guitarist I love Jim as much as anyone, but FNM with Chuck wasn't half the band as FNM with Mike.
(I know the secret song now. They wouldn't tell me, but somehow I found out.) -
