- sockpuppets, on 11/16/2007, -1/+39I'd like to buy a vowel, Pat.
- inactive, on 11/16/2007, -4/+12I wonder if they are gonna steal music like they do articles?
- ChristianBk, on 11/16/2007, -1/+6Again? Really?
- Yondelldude, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3Is it just me or does Pete Rojas look a lot like Sylar (Zachary Quinto) from Heroes?
- knightboat, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3I cared until I saw that there were no full albums.

- acidbathfan, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3Hopefully they will help promote new artists instead of opting out to rehash 90's artists that are looking to make a quick buck off of the anti-RIAA zeitgeist.
- idesign, on 11/16/2007, -0/+2If by Trendy you mean the year 2000, then yes i guess it is.

That's a ***** brilliant album, btw. - daede, on 11/16/2007, -1/+3Meh- nice concept, but it's going to take more than a couple of songs per artist for me to consider using this as a tool for finding new music.
I also don't much care for the site design- it's a bit busy for my tastes. Granted, it's not MySpace, but it's not that clean either. - Makisupa, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1Well, since the music is free, it's a little hard for them to sell it...
- SpykerSpeed, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1A cursory glance at the new site reveals photographs of sickly pale, skinny white dudes who are probably artistic. Interesting.

- bdbr, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1Most indie labels (which these are) offer up at least a couple of MP3s for each artist to whet your appetite. Some indie labels (e.g. Thrill Jockey & Barsuk) stream entire albums, which this doesn't do.
mp3.com put those one or two songs per artist on a website several years ago...but was later bought out (and turned into a pop-music wasteland). This is just a very messy version of the old mp3.com. - OAKsider, on 11/18/2007, -0/+1Wait, wait ... ZING!
- teesix, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1I too found this site difficult and confusing.
- pennyfan87, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1I don't think you get the sarcasm.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XTRMNTR - kidcodea, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1seems like a lolcats label...and thats not good. unless they dont really expect to be taken seriously :)
- dafragsta, on 11/16/2007, -2/+2You beat me too it. I hate the Engadget, Gizmodo, Joystiq ilk. They capitalized on hardly doing anything at all while being full of self importance overnight. This just puts the icing on the Web 2.0 ***** cake.

Wow, I can't accurately describe how trendy and obnoxious that name is. - fatweiner, on 11/16/2007, -0/+0I've signed up for the site already, and I find the entire thing extremely difficult to use, and half the ***** doesn't make sense. I can't even search for a band.
and they have no ska. boo. - kidcodea, on 11/16/2007, -1/+1wait, you're saying engadget founder new service, gets a review on engadget that's biased? NO WAY!
thats like showing surprise the very lackluster pownce got hyped in digg...i wonder why. - inactive, on 11/16/2007, -1/+1Buried as spam because that's precisely what this is - I don't care about a stupid website selling DRM free music - there are LOADS out there already.
- Jesseeme, on 11/16/2007, -0/+0Quote Unquote records has been doing this for a little over a year now, free music from all their signed bands
- Rafics, on 01/12/2008, -0/+0seriously, free, unrestricted, legal music downloads.
http://mymuzz.net - evan119, on 11/19/2007, -0/+0site is very hard to use and only has like 20 ***** ass bands to pick from

That's the most biased review of a music service I've ever read.
He doesn't even compare audio quality to iTunes! - happytedium, on 11/16/2007, -6/+2Awesome.
Also dugg for Cold War Kids. - JMan28, on 11/16/2007, -7/+2Are we finally seeing the record industry understand how fans want their music.
