Perhaps if it was phrased as a "Rap Genius", or as Waynerz said a "Lyrical Genius", people could understand more. If Eminem is not a rap genius then who is? Seriously. Hating Eminem because you don't like rap is like saying Michael Jordan was not the best because you don't like basketball.

Americans don't understand it because they don't know what to classify it as when there's a huge range to it. Rappers, singers, pop artists - all use electronic beats.
