- Xihix, on 03/15/2009, -25/+320You can call Coldplay gay as much as you want, I still think Chris Martin is a very likable person. The guy just seems to love life.
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -30/+226Haha, very funny. I know Coldplay have their haters but I loved their last album...
- darkchild82, on 03/14/2009, -33/+210I love how after all that, he still comes back panting and finishes the song. Bloody brilliant! :-)
- Rally603, on 03/15/2009, -17/+185Did anyone else try to find a black person in the crowd and fail?
- gforce051, on 03/15/2009, -6/+157Dugg for the sick parkour moves by the black security guard.
- BlameCanada, on 03/15/2009, -5/+135<strokes kitty>
No ridestp...I expect you to die. - 12916studios, on 03/15/2009, -0/+101I'm assuming the black security guard doesn't count, right?
- itsbob, on 03/15/2009, -7/+106He does that at most shows, its a security nightmare.
- aussieNickuss, on 03/15/2009, -0/+95Welcome to Sydney.
- Xavipheus, on 03/15/2009, -12/+103He does that all the time, just check out any of there other concerts. Coldplay puts on an amazing live show. I dont care what anyone says about them
- Wugie, on 03/15/2009, -19/+102I honestly don't understand the coldplay hate. It just feel like people do it because it's the cool thing to do.
- Cofaloaf, on 03/15/2009, -26/+107how the ***** can you not like Coldplay?
- FrankFutter, on 03/15/2009, -1/+66Nickelback sucks!
- happywaffle, on 03/15/2009, -2/+64I've seen him do it twice. Once he ran the perimeter of the arena before anyone knew what was happening, stood on a platform at the rear, and kept singing while the folks from the stadium came rushing down to grab him from behind. The other time he ran straight up the center and climbed a three-story scaffolding, then swung off the side while singing a verse. It's an awesome way to connect with the audience.
- charlie55, on 03/15/2009, -2/+61lesson: how to make security guys really really hate you.
- Grikkith, on 03/15/2009, -10/+67You know how I know you're gay?
jk. Coldplay ftw. - inactive, on 03/15/2009, -2/+58We are a tactile race. We like to touch something to make it personal, to show that it was real to us.
- iBerry, on 03/15/2009, -1/+56And I'm guessing from the reaction of the security guard that he didn't. Watch him bolt after Chris Martin with a look of panic. Hilarious.
- Haxorstatus, on 03/15/2009, -24/+72would have been funny if he got clotheslined.
- iSeven, on 03/14/2009, -33/+75i don't understand music fans and wanting to chase their favorite artist. It's like "yay, i touched him." ok, big deal. But the funniest fans are the ones that used to faint over Michael Jackson. That ***** is hilarious.
- DannyDriffs, on 03/15/2009, -18/+59I don't give much props to Coldplay. But well played.
- wondertwins, on 03/15/2009, -23/+63why so many coldplay haters? They are really a good group
- arbysrocks, on 03/15/2009, -8/+41coldplay is considered a very "gay" band. whatever that means. I personally don't like them but it's not because of that.
- LordofChaosIori, on 03/15/2009, -9/+41You know that sheep... oops I mean Digg mentality.
- spitfireaus, on 03/15/2009, -9/+41I was there, it was pretty freaking awesome!
- evergrim, on 03/15/2009, -1/+29I want to touch Angelina Jolie's breasts to show that they are real to me.
- 9bpm9, on 03/15/2009, -0/+28Just go into a hot topic store, you'll find at least 10 of those girls.
- memper, on 03/15/2009, -0/+26Point their camera phones at him and use words like dude, and omg, and awesome.
- Gareth321, on 03/15/2009, -4/+27I'm indifferent towards Coldplay. The music feels really vanilla to me. There's not 'catch' to it. I'm erring on the side of dislike lately though. The radio has killed most of their songs =/
- Javy42, on 03/15/2009, -16/+35Coldplay has absolutely NOTHING to do with rock n roll.
- brownsound00, on 03/15/2009, -0/+18I remember seeing MJ concerts on TV when i was a kid, and I was like, why the hell are those people fainting?
So i thought it was a common occurrence at concerts. lo and behold, i went to my first concert. and no one fainted. i was a confused kid. - itsbob, on 03/15/2009, -0/+17Security is always aware of this happening, they know the song when it will happen and they usually have a path planned out even though it changes depending on the crowd reaction.
- rpgmakr, on 03/15/2009, -1/+17"I'm sure some Digg users love to go "Coldplay sucks!" just because they think it's cool to say that but f**k it! I LOVE this band and after this video, I love them even more."
Dugg just for that. The video was cool. I'm not a fan of the band or listen to them that much but I think they have a couple of good songs. I also know that the digg crowd it's supposed to hate everything that it's "too commercial" so *****'em. - TomNZ, on 03/15/2009, -0/+15Reporter on the left: Guy or girl?
- sgtbutterscotch, on 03/15/2009, -1/+16Digg doesn't like Jack Johnson? Nickelback, I know that, but I don't think I've ever seen any Jack Johnson bashing.
- inactive, on 03/15/2009, -20/+35No, it's because they're such a bland, generic band yet their fans behave as if they possess untouchable genius.
In a way the hate isn't really directed at Coldplay themselves, but at a society so enamored with mediocrity that a band as featureless as Coldplay can stand out at all. - inactive, on 03/15/2009, -4/+19Great! Now we have your opinion! Hurray!
- Jeffler, on 03/15/2009, -0/+14***** Jack Johnson!
..wait, my beef is with Jack Johnson the LA Kings Defenceman. Carry on. - GeckoSlayer, on 03/15/2009, -1/+14you wont find many black people below the queensland/nsw border. once across that border, the numbers increase exponentially.
not being racist either, simply telling the truth. - gimpieman, on 03/15/2009, -1/+14Don't forget that there is a suburb in Sydney called Blacktown. And by sheer coincidence, many African immigrants live there.
- immatellyouwhat, on 03/15/2009, -0/+12all I could think of when they chased him was .... BRRRRAAAAINNNSSSS!!!!
- Migdilio, on 03/15/2009, -7/+19Speaking as a huge Coldplay fan, that was pretty cool to see. But Chris Martin - a self-proclaimed U2-fan - nicked that bit from Bono.
U2's performance at Live Aid in 1985 took them from well-known to world-famous practically overnight. Many people credit Bono's famous jump into the crowd for the sudden burst in the band's popularity:

(An amazing performance overall, but for "the leap" fast forward to about 7 minutes in.) - Conguent, on 03/15/2009, -0/+12Bahaha.
- worldofsmut, on 03/15/2009, -12/+24Yeah, Chris Martin looked. When he didn't see any, he knew it was safe...
- evilhomestereo, on 03/15/2009, -8/+19What's so special about this? I saw the Dillinger Escape Plan a month ago, and by the end of the show, everyone but the drummer was in the crowd.
- wondertwins, on 03/15/2009, -2/+13I sense mass burying for you
- spect3r, on 03/15/2009, -4/+14I think my grandpa said the same thing about Elivs :P
- birch25, on 03/15/2009, -3/+13Last album as in Viva La Vida? If so, hell yeah! If you mean X+Y, nooooo
