- tbredofsin, on 10/23/2008, -2/+32This isn't science fiction. It's not even "sci-fi". It's just garbage.
- cygnus2112, on 10/23/2008, -1/+27You can say what you will about how stupid the pop artists are and how stupid it is to mix the science fiction genre into their selected fashion and design choices ... but I'd love to be that rocket.
- Tanze, on 10/23/2008, -1/+23remember the days when you would get beat up for being a fan of science fiction? ***** these people

- xtweeker, on 10/23/2008, -3/+14It amazes me how angry and bent out of shape people (especially people on the internet ) get over stupid ***** like this.
Congratulations for living in the stereotype. - inactive, on 10/23/2008, -1/+12had me at "Christina Aguilera rides..."

- petebot, on 10/23/2008, -0/+7Seriously! And what's the deal with ska core? It's not ska, and it's not hardcore! Just what am I listening to here?
- alais, on 10/23/2008, -0/+7The fact that this is on the font page of digg given all the other possibilities says volumes.
- inactive, on 10/23/2008, -1/+7Yeah, I've often thought about how awesome it would be to be an inanimate object.

My Penis. - koancomputers, on 10/23/2008, -0/+6I wouldn't blame pop artists (at least not for this). Music videos, photo shoots and advertising campaigns are managed by producers and art directors. It's these people who make the decision of 'theme' and 'artistic vision' and whatnot.
So it's an emerging theme for those people, not the popstars. The primary theme of most pop stars is drugs, alcohol, and desperate cries for attention.
Insert you own 'Christina Aguilera rocket riding metaphor' here. - Huangism, on 10/23/2008, -0/+6[generic insult]
- maz2331, on 10/23/2008, -0/+5Don't lump Christina in with the other talentless "stars" - she actually does have some serious talent. I'd put her singing against any singer from any era - seriously, this girl could outsing Ella Fitzgerald, which is not easy to do.
Plus, she knows how to do "hot" without crossing the line.
There's a few really good artists out there now, and a bunch of marketing department creations. Christina is in the first category, and Britney Spears is in the second. - revjustin2, on 10/23/2008, -0/+5I want to be a pencil.
- BigE89, on 10/23/2008, -0/+4Too late

- inactive, on 10/23/2008, -1/+4Speaking of Nicole Ritchie...she's on Chuck next week and that kind of pisses me off. I love that show. Why bring that trainwreck into it?

- 4NDr01D, on 10/23/2008, -0/+2its usually a quick way to knock out one of the artists obligated records while under contract with the labels
essentially one less album to make.
once she's out of her contract maybe she will write some good music
