edit: just found out they show it on itv2 in the uk, brilliant! - musicphreke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5yeah, it's a shame most people, or at least a lot, on the show don't have a great personality like this guy does. he's got that and a good voice. i think an American Idol should have both. of course he probably won't get far unfortunately unless he drastically changes his looks, and that's just how it is with America. looks matter 90% and the rest is talent and attitude. it's a shame. but he may get a deal anyway. most people that DON'T win AI, but that are really close in the end and get really far seem to be end up doing better anyway. *cough* Gay [Clay] Aiken *cough*

Good voice as well. - fiver22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Despite the comedy -this kid had a strong grasp of the pitch and tenor of the song -he is obviously familiar with music -which is more than I can say for many of the other cats who might have more vocal 'wow' -but lack any sense of understanding of the music. I doubt that this kid'll go far on American Idol -but I'm pretty comfortable saying that he probably has a better understanding of music than most of the 'high-C' wankers who make it to the finals.

The volume and intensity of his voice just wasn't really stable enough, and it sounded like he was just trying to belt out portions and whisper others. He was very good though. His sense of Humour was amazing though. I actually LMAO'ed a couple times. "I want to make Hasslehoff cry". HAHAHA. A Chuck Norris Joke would have also worked, but it still worked. I think i'll try out for Canadian Idol on feb.11th. Wish me luck. I sing sinatra :P
