Bush pardons prison sentence of hip-hop producer
collegenews.com — Due to private school connections and allegations of an unfair trial, rapper John Forté is able to go free. On Tuesday, President George W. Bush announced that he had 14 pardons and commuted two prison sentences, exercising a common presidential power enjoyed by his predecessors. One of those names was Forté's, known for his work with The Fugees.
