Bush Pardons Fugees Affiliate, John Forte

telegraph.co.uk — President George W. Bush has pardoned 14 people and reduced the sentences of two others, including an award-winning rapper who was convicted of smuggling cocaine. Forte, a rapper and former producer for the hip hop group The Fugees, was caught in 2000 at Newark International Airport with two briefcases filled with $1.4 million worth of cocaine.
