- SuperMoonMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So this is like...stealing from Napster? How ironic...
- xisitboi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.uneasysilence.com/index.php?p=2204 Old 5.06 WinAmp there...
- bloodrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0got to love bill gates sometimes.
- AlexV, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Worked great for me. Instead of burning the WAV files, I just convert them to MP3s (with proper ID3 tags, etc...). Thanks for the info!
- ORBIT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0probably fixed in ver 5.08d
From version history
5.08d
* Critical Security bug fixed in in_mp4.dll and enc_mp4.dll and libmp4v2.dll
5.07
* Critical Security bug fixed in in_cdda.dll and .m3u handler
Also, Microsoft was in a tizzy a while ago about the same thing, Winamp being able to burn WMA DRM files. That might be releated. The only way around this is to grab an early version 5 of winamp, and not have Media Player 10 installed. - AdamWillis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if you burn an audio CD using iTunes, then the drm shouldn't be on with it. so if you put the music back on you comp in any other format, as long as its not drm, you should be okay.
- xalen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great find

- KingAR_II, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0worked fine for me. nice digg.
- ccrook, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've already done this, but with my crippled tracks i paid $.99 for.
Any disk writing plugin works - AdamWillis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is stupid, you could always get a recording program and play steal off the files you listening to. if i wanted a trick, i would want a drm cracker or a place to just dl the songs and make the drm think its yours.
- Demagogue, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Just tried it, and it didnt work. It said ,"doesnt support DRM protected files" or something.
- raj3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0cool but you might as well use p2p, much easier
- leadingzero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0if you dl a song from itunes, burn it to a cd from itunes, then rip it as mp3 will the DRM still be there?
