- seanmanseanman, on 07/16/2009, -0/+9I use to LIVE for their year end best/worst lists. I loved those articles so much that even when they put up a link to meatspin one year I STILL thought it was as good as any scathing commentary they had written before.
- NefariousFIG, on 07/16/2009, -0/+8I used to read this site all the time back in the day. But, I don't know, I feel it probably won't hold the same appeal to me now as it did when I was a 17 year kid. A lot of the stuff they did back then was pretty funny, but a lot was also pretty stupid and asinine.
I'm still going to check it out, though. - eugenie, on 07/16/2009, -0/+6welcome back buddyhead. nuke them from orbit, it's the only way to be sure. but seriously, i'm tired of toothless, earnest, and witless music sites who dislike anyone who isn't hipster approved. long live the 'Head!
- chadsterrr, on 07/16/2009, -0/+6This is a great site, glad its back
- Wonderama, on 07/16/2009, -2/+8Never heard of Keller before, but the article describes an L.A. douchebag of magnificent proportions.
- thejackyl, on 07/17/2009, -0/+5dugg for Meathead!

- BowlingStone, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6So I went to Buddyhead.com and read Keller's weekly gossip column. In the first paragraph he takes a shot at American Apparel. Said paragraph was on a page serving 2 American Apparel ads. Now that's punk.
- ClownbloodBZ, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4I found this site through hipster friends that collected vinyl back in high school. Glad to see that's back, and in proper form.
- st0ney, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4Welcome back Travis.
- pacman122, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3Somehow I didn't come across them. I wonder if people are still interested in music blogs. They were really interesting and underground in 2004-2006. I hope they have the same feel.
- bibithefirst, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3I really missed them, glad they're back. Not that many music blogs are worth it, don't take it that seriously guys, they're good at what they do and don't pretend to be something they're not.
- NefariousFIG, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2He has his ups and downs, and I must profess to a fair degree of ambivalence towards him. He can be really funny at times, but he also exhibits an annoying amount of hyper-masculine/macho swagger (which probably mirrors those whom he felt oppressed by when he talks of his childhood as being one of feeling alienated, having no girlfriends, and being called "fag").
I just take most of what he says with a grain of salt and focus on the funny parts. He does dig up some damn hilarious gossip, and he released some good music. - protogenxl, on 07/16/2009, -3/+5http://www.buddyhead.com/gossip-31202/
"Andrew W.K. is gonna be huge. He totally sucks, but watch people start eat up this glam metal in shorts crap up real soon. He’s also going on tour. If you go see this *****, you probably like the Strokes, The Hives, and whatever other “rock” bands the radio lets your sheltered ass hear."
http://www.buddyhead.com/gossip-2102/
"Flogging Molly has a new album coming out that sounds just like the last one and they are gonna be on… Wooooo! The Warped Tour. Sounds fun guys. The other ***** bands that will be on the tour are mighty mighty bosstones, nofx, lagwagon, new found glory, reel big fish, no use for name, good charlotte, and the casualties. But before the jock rock summer fantasy trip, they are playing some clubs. Go get drunk at em kids!"
Who the Hell do you think you are? - thelieutenant, on 07/16/2009, -4/+6Everything about this article is pure fact. FACT.
- dreamchach, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Yeah. and that douchebag is Marilyn Manson.
- thejackyl, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1That made me literally lol
- kitsunebaka, on 07/29/2009, -0/+0This whole "calling on the fans" move is pretty stupid, especially considering that if someone in his fan base actually did act on his request, it could result in something far worse than we he was getting blamed for Columbine (and the funny thing is Harris and Kliebold weren't even fans). He had to have been drunk or high to have posted something like this.
And also, Trent Reznor is the last person who should be bitching about Manson needing to "get his ***** together," since his ***** sucks just as bad. Year Zero is just as watered down as "High End of Low" All my former heroes are getting older and losing their touch. Time to move on to more interesting stuff, like Dir en grey and MUCC. Unique song construction, enigmatic lyrics, and doesn't sound like most of the recycled trash that clogs MTV and Radio play lists. - BarryFields, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2i tend to think buddyhead's moment has passed
- xanderbradford, on 07/17/2009, -0/+0One of the stupid sites around. Most of the reviewers know nothing of music and talk like immature high school kids trying to sound hard core. Maybe if they concentrated more on the music and less on their egos they might be a worthwhile site.
- Caringforarbot, on 07/16/2009, -2/+1Wow great, as mentioned above the first paragraph of the gossip column makes fun of american apparel, wow thats original and the fact that it seems like am app is the only sponsor of the site so far makes it even lamer. Scroll down a bit and they're back to making fun of Courtney Love, Billy Corgan and GnR. Its like 2002 all over again!
Scroll down to the bottom and there's an entry that is completely ripped off of Hipster Runoff, the blog that has since taken the place of Buddy Head as the ***** talkers of the scene and is actually relevant to the scene as of 2009.
*Sigh* I was a big fan of Buddy Head back in the day but I feel that with this new business model they will never survive. Give it a few months and they will see that their ***** talking will only infuriate their advertisers and they will begin to censor themselves. The thing that made Buddy Head so appealing to me when I was a kid was the fact that they were this little pain in the ass of the music industry, they were "punk" for lack of a better word. They would talk ***** to any one and everyone, break *****, steal ***** and cause havoc. I cant see that happening now with a business model and financial backers. I feel buddy head will just become another mediocre blog/ review site. - inactive, on 07/17/2009, -2/+0http://digg.com/television/TV_Cranium_Commercial_C ... - go digg it's real.
- evanft, on 07/16/2009, -5/+3It's like Pitchfork, but even moreso.
