podcastparty.blogspot.com — Seeing Billy Preston on last night ’s replay of the first Saturday Night Live reminded me what an amazing talent he was. He had some big solo hits in the '70s, but was best known as a sideman who worked with everyone from Ray Charles and Little Richard to the Rolling Stones and many more... including the Beatles (who considered making him a member).
