- inactive, on 09/13/2008, -0/+12Looking forward to hearing what they're up to. The only old school bands that seem to have reverted to their roots and are actually rocking again seem to be Judas Priest and Metallica. I'd love to welcome AC/DC back to the fold.
Judas Priest is the most noteworthy. The most disappointing to me is Iron Maiden. How my favorite band of all time has fallen........RIP fellas.......or get off your asses and remember how to rock! - jontalisman, on 09/13/2008, -0/+8On the contrary, they're completely loaded. No doubt they wouldn't mind more, though.
- MidnightRIder77, on 09/13/2008, -0/+8They're releasing a new album. Most artists tour when they do. Also, from the single they released, it sounds like classic AC/DC.

- BrapAllgood, on 09/13/2008, -0/+7And I wrote that before I looked at the title of the single. I'm convinced.

I hate ***** Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, the Grateful Dead, Phish, Billy Joel, Dave Matthews, Coldplay, Korn, Linkin Park, and Radiohead, to name just a few - all multi-platinum sellers, and all responsible at one time or another for degrading "rock" music and what it should stand for in my opinion...but I can neither deny their talents, nor can I say that my opinion makes them any less successful or honest in their endeavors.
I'm no big AC/DC fan, I won't be attending the concerts unless someone gives me a ticket or a pass, but at least they continue to deliver straight-up ass-kicking Rock and Roll to the masses....there's something to be said for consistency, it's something even the most talented best sellers have a hard time delivering album after album. AC/DC is a band which doesn't compromise it's style in order to appeal to more people - it works for them, and it works for millions of rock fans the world over, for over 30 years...which I guarantee will not be the case for Radiohead, Coldplay, or Linkin Park...and countless other best sellers. - inactive, on 09/14/2008, -2/+1ac/dc once again redefines the lowest common denominator, and lowers the bar just a tad more.
