Aloha, Mary Kaye

lightfantastic.org — Mary Kaye, "First Lady of Rock and Roll," had Hawaii ties. Born as Mary Ka‘aihue, she shaped the very character of Las Vegas. She was an accomplished guitarist (Fender named a Stratocaster for her) and created the "lounge" phenomenon. She's also descendant of Hawaiian royalty. Hawaii and Vegas share a special bond... so we, too, mourn Mary.
