- GRTWHT, on 11/30/2007, -2/+110Great picture - great example of human nature.
- Dokument, on 11/30/2007, -0/+89I like how the editor of that website submitted this already, but mrbabyman is the one that makes it to the front page with his dupe.
- natdowner, on 11/30/2007, -1/+51It only ever takes one to do it first and the rest will follow. I love how the relation between this picture and the RIAA. You just can't expect people to abide by certain directions, when you know others aren't.
- arcooke, on 11/30/2007, -3/+53Is anyone else getting extremely tired of people saying "fail" all the time?

- arbulus, on 11/30/2007, -1/+27Of course MrBabyman made it to the front page, he always makes it to the front page.
- dvsbastard, on 11/30/2007, -2/+22This is a much better picture to the RIAA / MPAA:

- mCanada, on 11/30/2007, -1/+11best quote goes to that blog --->>> "All I see is goatse, time to turn off the internet" lol!
- absurdist, on 11/30/2007, -1/+11DRM = Digital Roads Management?
- Vorin, on 11/30/2007, -0/+10um, i didn't see that at all, initially.
i think it has more to do with the whole "put a useless restriction somewhere and the majority finds a way around it" - aywwts4, on 11/30/2007, -3/+13"Fail" Is the worst meme on all of the internets, I would rather have lolcatz doing a numa numa remix of the hamster dance in animated gif form on digg than another "Epic Fail"
- atluen, on 11/30/2007, -2/+11its like i said months ago, digg is the new 4chan... still, i miss digg 1.0
- Johnagain, on 11/30/2007, -2/+10It is an analogy -> Let's say the RIAA is in charge of the road. They have something pretty at the end of the road, and you want to see it. They want to charge you $1900 to raise their little robotic arm (let's call that DRM) to go see the pretty thing. You can see what people think of their demand for fees, and their DRM - they just circumvent it.
When you get to the end of the road, you will discover that the pretty thing is a sunset. You are happy to have seen it, as it is beautiful, but you are pissed that it cost you $1900. Way too much for a sunset. Especially when you can listen to it on the radio, or at your friends house. uh, I mean see it. You know... - Pilot85, on 11/30/2007, -2/+10They digg you down, but don't worry, I agree.
- rhank, on 11/30/2007, -2/+9yes, i am too, but "action music?" what the heck man?
- obijohn, on 11/30/2007, -0/+7No, but telling me I can't listen to the content I've already paid for, ANYWHERE and on WHATEVER device I want -- that is arbitrary.
- drafhk, on 11/30/2007, -4/+10It actually has nothing whatsoever to do with the RIAA/MPAA. Basically, they put tracks in snow around the road to make it look like a poon. The MAFIAA reference was only to ensure that it made frontpage, thusly keeping the Digg oligarchy intact.
- onClipEvent, on 11/30/2007, -0/+6Location of where the pic was taken:
Google Earth:
Lat: 52° 2'12.46"N
Long: 8°29'29.73"E - aznhomig, on 11/30/2007, -1/+7Cut the fascist middleman out and get to the goods.
- Goodbyeworld, on 11/30/2007, -6/+11iz in ur commints, trollin u upz!
- cleric85, on 11/30/2007, -0/+5No one saw the point in stopping at that stop station so they drove around it. Its an analogy I guess. Telling people not to share they will do it anyways.
- RocketGib, on 11/30/2007, -1/+5I read someone mention that that reminded them of Goatse... WTF?
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -1/+5Yeah and if you say MrBabyMan is a fag then his followers will bury you.
- jmpeagle, on 11/30/2007, -1/+5the website tells you the location so googling it's coordinates is probably pretty easy
- jggr, on 11/30/2007, -2/+6Indeed. Starting to feel the pull away from this site, but then... what else is there? I've been to all the popular ones (social networks), and don't have time to find the hidden gems.
I just want to find a good site populated by intelligent adults (who don't mind various styles of humour, and who understand the basics of the English language). Enough of the sites filled with kids and dumbasses who either latch on to the meme of the moment or always go for the lowest common denominator. Intelligent sharing of thoughts and ideas.... Is that so much to ask in this day and age?
/BTW: If anyone out there is bogartting a site, let me know. - billizm, on 11/30/2007, -0/+4Damian, I can kind of see how you tried to be funny, but it turned out to be a train wreck. Simply horrible.
- gmprunner, on 11/30/2007, -0/+4Out of it, actually.
- cleric85, on 11/30/2007, -0/+4Haha how did you find that and how long did it take you?!
- inactive, on 11/30/2007, -2/+4While I definitely agree with the context this message is intended for (spiting the RIAA and their nonsense preference for DRM), I hope people realize that this cute little quote can't and shouldn't be applied to everything. Bank robbers obviously deem laws about stealing "arbitrary", but that doesn't make what they do any more noble or commendable. It also sounds like something a whiny person would say when they get pulled over for speeding because "everyone else was doing it", as if that changes the fact that they were going 90 in a 60. In short, seeing a bunch of other people doing something taboo may make it easier for you to justify in your mind but rarely if ever makes it right.
- zbarnett, on 11/30/2007, -2/+4Something like the Rocky theme song I believe. Every time I hear it I want to drive through a few gates.
- SpacePoet, on 11/30/2007, -0/+2I don't know, but it seems that the point is that there are some things in life that should be fair like when you are driving with the flow and get singled out when slowing down would have gotten you run over. I know it is illegal, but some rules are meant to be bent a little under some circumstances. Now, 90% of what I listen to now, and legally, I would never have heard of if it wasn't from downloading all kinds of stuff back in the Napster days. 90%. If I had to be a slave to the corporate music world I would go insane. Now I try to support independent and online music because it has been a venue that has few boundaries, like music should have been in the first place.
I say screw the record companies, they are only in it for the money, not the music, period. - MacSuxWindozSux, on 11/30/2007, -1/+3Reminds me of new German Urinals, where the manufacturer is drawing a fake fly on the porcelain inside, so people aim inside the bowl.
Another example of human nature. - deose, on 11/30/2007, -3/+5working mirror of picture: http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/9518/kurios119p ...

- grantmoore3d, on 12/01/2007, -0/+1Hmmm... looks like they put up posts... no more free parking :(
- AggieFalcon01, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1Exactly. And, I'd add, OVER-paying for content is an arbitrary rule.
- omnikitty, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1Wicked. I love it.

- EvoMR05, on 12/01/2007, -1/+1I saw all the metaphor going on there, it made all the sense...RIAA/MPAA = big giant pussy....
then I saw the tinny bar in the middle....ahhhh... - Jorin, on 11/30/2007, -1/+1You just have to "cirsumvent" the barriers, as GOB would say.
- GovernmentSp00k, on 11/30/2007, -1/+1hmm that looks familiar.
