- Surferess, on 10/08/2008, -2/+28I love the Foo Fighters! I'm glad they wont let McCain use their songs. It would be an anachronism.

- winstonsmith303, on 10/08/2008, -3/+24I would have gone with Stacked Actors - 'Line up the bastards all I want is the truth'
- jetfuel, on 10/09/2008, -0/+12Just came in to say that Foo Fighters rock and put on an awesome show.
- Crumbnumber1, on 10/09/2008, -4/+14they forgot: "Let it Die"
- opensourcer, on 10/09/2008, -2/+11"We can all sleep easy at night knowing that somewhere at any given time, the Foo Fighters are out there fighting Foo." David Letterman
McCain is pissing the people that influenced my life. Just quit, McCain. - GregofJersey, on 10/09/2008, -4/+13Dave Grohl = God.
- dafragsta, on 10/09/2008, -0/+9Yo VIP. Let's kick it!
- Hooloovoo, on 10/09/2008, -2/+11Glad to see they've finally taken to truly fighting foo's.
- DieselGrunge, on 10/09/2008, -0/+5OF YOU
- walkable, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3What about Stacked Actors as the theme song for Sarah Palin?
- stuartduff, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Never gonna happen what about just lining them up in a firing squad, each politician is as bad as the other :(
- jydesign, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2How could they overlook the -=FF=- song "Long Road to Ruin"?
- Shadowhawk109, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2Really? Not "DOA"? Come on...
- bubba9999, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2AH PITY DA FOOS!
- dannythepan, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2i agree. it's to the point where i'm thinking.. are they just trying to be funny now?
mccain's dishonesty makes me disinterested in televised politics.
the foo fighters "best of you" played every twenty minutes makes me disinterested in radio
no tv no radio.. now i'm not being told to think things all the time - doublefelix, on 10/09/2008, -1/+3Am I the only one who digs their cover of Gerry Rafferty's 'Baker Street'?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axdBNCovYBc - inactive, on 10/09/2008, -1/+3Give it up you guys are starting to become predictable.
- jakkyl, on 10/09/2008, -1/+3Actually the FF don't have any legal discourse to prevent the McCain campaign from using the song. They can ask, but that's all they can do.
- inactive, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Nope… I've had that stuck in my head all day…
Thanks for bringing it up… - aekdbbop, on 10/09/2008, -2/+3Ahahahahahaha.. not funny.
- sharpfork, on 10/09/2008, -4/+5I dig the Foo Fighters; but, McCain's campaign song should be Beck's Loser.
- Brad12088, on 10/09/2008, -2/+3Reminds me of when Bush used 'Times Like These' last election and the band ended up supporting and campaigning for Kerry.
- leamanc, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1To each his own. I loved the first album, thought the second one was pretty damn good too (it has some out-and-out classics, but some filler too). The third album was OK, and it's been downhill ever since. I still like Dave Grohl though. Cool dude, but I haven't enjoyed any of his music since the turn of the century.
- cadmiumpaint, on 10/09/2008, -5/+6they should just replay the one foo lyric "i don't owe you anything" that seems to be a recurring theme of the Republican party towards the American people.
- notquitegone, on 10/09/2008, -1/+28. “Hey, Johnny Park”
See, they already wrote a song for you.
Everything fades in time, it's true.
7. “Wind Up”
Sen. Temper, if you ever had a theme song, this is it.
Maybe I'll fall behind, but I don't mind because I'll catch up ... Spare me your questions because you know me so well/Someday you'll realize I get shy and choke up.
6. “The Pretender”
Maverick? Please. Straight Talk Express? COME ON!
In time, or so I'm told/I'm just another soul for sale.
5. “Oh, George”
Kinda speaks for itself, doesn't it?
4. “My Poor Brain'
You're right, probably better suited for Gov. Palin.
3. “Exhausted”
Of course you are. YOU'RE OLD!
2. “Alone + Easy Target”
So many members of the liberal media with so much to say. Must be tough. Plus, YOU'RE OLD!
1. “I'll Stick Around”
Gotta hand it to ya, fella, your campaign was left for dead, you championed an extremely unpopular military maneuver in Iraq that's often called “The. Surge.” and now you're one heartbeat away from making Sarah Palin the President of the United States of America.
I've taken all and I've endured/One day it all will fade, I'm sure - Mujokan, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1jakkyl, he's a spoof poster. He must be feeling a lot of stress, and this is the only way he can relieve it.
- bubba9999, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1I love Kool-Aid. Grape FTW.
- mt330404, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Rolling Stones - Tumbling Dice
Britney Spears - Toxic - darneveryone, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Way to copy and paste!
- twmulloy, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1judd judd
- darneveryone, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1It sounds more like a theme song for Cindy McCain
- MediaShipper, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1"By The Time I Get To Arizona" by Public Enemy
- HumanNouveau, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1That's cool. McCain can feel good about losing too. I've got nothing personal against the guy. Just don't want him to be president of my country. Not for a day. But that doesn't make him a bad guy. "Just not a fit for this opportunity," as the nice HR lady would say.
- mcjaggernaut, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1McCain campaign song proposal = Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.
Only drop the "you" = Never Gonna Give Up - John McCain - elister, on 10/09/2008, -1/+1I'll have you know that GW has been very generous to Seattle over the past 7 1/2 years, most of us like him. He's so nice to us, that when he lands at Boeing Field (downtown commercial only airport), he immediately gets on a helicopter and flies straight to Bellevue, where all the Republican high rollers live and gladly pay 1,000$ per plate (1,460$ adjusted for skyrocketing inflation) .
No, not like Clinton. That little ***** had the balls to drive through downtown and stop traffic for over an hour with his motorcade. His sidekick Gore did it later in 2000 while campaigning. *****!!!
No, you are wrong sir. Seattle loves GW Bush. - mkane, on 03/21/2009, -0/+0foo fighters are awesome
http://www.xanga.com/bridalshowerinvitations/weblo ... - Ranjit13, on 10/09/2008, -1/+1I love the Foo Fighters and McCain should not have used their song, but this article is dumb.
- diggocrat, on 10/09/2008, -2/+2I am really happy to see so many musicians and celebrities supporting Obama. They are so incredibly intelligent!
- dannythepan, on 10/09/2008, -0/+0i feel good about being a loser when listening to that song
- xhikari, on 10/09/2008, -4/+4McCain deserves Vanilla Ice! :P
- flimsy031, on 11/22/2008, -0/+0Hi,

http://shaunbarrowes.blogspot.com/ - Anonchrist, on 10/09/2008, -1/+1Evil is not at all the right word. Too many of them just want the government to have laws based on religious beliefs; much like it is done in Iraq and other Muslim countries. That agenda tends to override all of the positive agendas that the have for the country. Evil, no. Distracted, yes.
- mapls, on 03/06/2009, -0/+0Maybe that' s why Mccain lost?
Weight Watchers Recipes :
http://www.weightwatchers-recipes.info - gezortenplotz, on 10/09/2008, -1/+1Obama should use 'Cult of Personality' as his theme song.
- Egoist, on 10/09/2008, -1/+1Oh man, you nailed it. This "evil party" is sooooo evil, that they fought to abolish slavery and give rights to every man woman and child. The "innocent party" Democrats sparked a civil war just to maintain the ability to buy, sell, and own slaves. You remember Abraham Lincoln? He was a Republican.
Who pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to end segregation and restore rights to blacks when the Democrats tried to filibuster it? Republicans.
Who believes that every able bodied man and woman should work and not live on welfare? Republicans.
Who fights Democrats to this day to stop trying to criminalize rights spelled out in our Constitution? Republicans.
Who fights Democrats to this day to stop legalizing discrimination based on gender or race when applying for a job or to go to school? Republicans.
Oh yes, such an evil evil party. - jagermeistr, on 10/09/2008, -5/+4I think the Foo Fighters get played on the radio as much as McCain says "my friends"...if not more.
- jakkyl, on 10/09/2008, -2/+1No..... Actors and Musicians have always had a sort of 'bond' thing when it comes to Politics. The true elites in the industry (in other words, the ones that bankroll all the movie and recording projects out there) certainly have a leftist agenda. Unless an actor wants to start funding his own movies, he better at least appear to be on the same page as these elitist. It's sicking really.... How else can you describe a fund raiser for Obama that took place in Hollywood last month with a dinner price of $25,000 per plate? $25,000!!!! The next day Obama was talking about getting relief for the middle class.....give me a break. The kind of people that can blow what takes me the better side of a half year to earn on dinner don't live in the same world that I do. So why would I listen to them tell me who the better candidate is???
- jakkyl, on 10/09/2008, -2/+1I love the Foo Fighters. Have been a fan since they first came out sometime in the mid 90's (This is the Call! - thank you KROQ)
Anyway, they have no legal ground to stand on when someone plays their songs. It's no different than when you go to a club or bar and hear music there. So I respect Dave Grohl and Nancy Wilson as musicians but I'd never hire them as a lawyer. -
