- lollapaloooza, on 09/06/2008, -9/+53Anthony Kiedis, Thom Yorke, and Eddie Vedder? Buried.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+26Dugg it, but I have to disagree with the choices. It seems that according to this peice, good showmanship/energy/personality = annoying.
- CityzenInsane, on 09/06/2008, -3/+26Thom Yorke?! Thom "***** Genius" Yorke?!!! I want to repeatedly jab the list with a blunt knife... and the guy who wrote it.
- Weezy323, on 09/05/2008, -2/+24JARED LETO. And Scott Strap should be no.1, he's so douchy, claiming "It's good to be king," while getting a beejer next to Kid Rock on a tour bus (it's all on tape). And how about Kid Rock, for that matter?
- inactive, on 09/06/2008, -3/+24I don't find Thom Yorke 'annoying' in the slightest and don't understand how anybody can.
- SpectreFire, on 09/06/2008, -5/+26I have to disagree with Thom Yorke. His voice IS Radiohead.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+22Posting links to slide shows on Digg? There oughta be a law...
- FreeZyp0pS, on 09/06/2008, -1/+18This list blows......
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+18my vote goes to melissa ethridge
- sbcea, on 09/05/2008, -0/+17So many douchebags, so little time
- cryptomystic, on 09/06/2008, -3/+19Buried because who makes a Top 23 list of anything?
Round if off *****, it's either 20 or 25. - slothchunk, on 09/06/2008, -2/+16i think i'm more annoyed with the writer than any of the singers. terrible, terrible list.
- jontalisman, on 09/06/2008, -2/+16Leave Eddie Vedder alone!
- dfielder, on 09/06/2008, -3/+16This list is inaccurate
Most of the guys on this list rock
The top 3 should have been Creed/Nickelback/Hinder - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+13I've heard of most of these guys and most of them deserve to be on the list. I disagree with some of the choices, but you know what? At least they can back up their choices, which shows more thought than most of the political stories that get dugg up.
- acmaurer, on 09/05/2008, -1/+12ewww - and not one of them is photogenic. how sad.
- Whiteknight117, on 09/06/2008, -3/+14Eddie Vedder is the ***** Man. Buried.
- headzoo, on 09/06/2008, -2/+13I'll agree to everyone on this list except Eddie Vedder. The guy seems just too harmless to make fun of him.
- CivicTV, on 08/14/2009, -1/+11Good. Scott Stapp being #1 makes this list official.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -6/+16Very proud to say I've only heard of a few of these guys.
Lesson one in grade school nowadays should be "Rejecting/Ignoring Star Culture and Everyone Associated with it." - WillSunrider, on 09/06/2008, -1/+11Why wasn't Fall Out Boy's lead singer on the list?
- inkswamp, on 09/06/2008, -0/+9The writer of this piece pretty much jumped the shark with this sentence...
> Grunge pretty much jumped the shark with the emergence of Live
Live was around before grunge. They, like a lot of other bands, got dumped into that definition by lazy music journalists who looked around everywhere in the 90s and saw nothing but grunge. - jaswaters, on 09/06/2008, -1/+10I would have to disagree with a lot of those picks. I think the author confuses "annoying" with "different" or "unique" for a number of his picks. For example, I like Radiohead because Thom York doesn't have your typical voice and I find that his music is the opposite of annoying, it is refreshing. In a sea of singers like Clay Aiken and Celine Dion, it is nice to find something unique every once and awhile.
- nshady, on 09/06/2008, -2/+11***** you. Thom Yorke is one of the best singers out there. Amazing range, great at expressing emotion in his voice, NEVER boring. Buried.
- mudlite, on 09/06/2008, -4/+12Billy Corgan in front of Chad Kroeger? How come digg is not in more of an uproar?
- kawaiirobo, on 09/06/2008, -0/+8I don't find Thom annoying either, but I can understand why some people could. He has a real drone like quality to his voice, and it's no surprise to me that it turns some people off. he really is an acquired taste.
- ohnoerino, on 09/05/2008, -0/+8Yeah, the format is a bit much...but I still thought the writing was funny.
- aflaks, on 09/06/2008, -0/+8Pretty lame list, and a horrible format. 23 pages? are you kidding me!
- Weezy323, on 09/05/2008, -0/+7Forgive me, here you go.
http://defamer.com/hollywood/celeb-sex-tapes/welco ...
Unfortunately, this is the long version. But the King quote should be at the beginning. - KiwiMark, on 09/06/2008, -0/+7This list is number 1 on my list of Most annoying lists ever.
- lisaawesome, on 09/06/2008, -1/+7Everything.
- doctordbx, on 09/06/2008, -0/+6And keep it to one page!
- woofers07, on 09/06/2008, -2/+8I almost left when I saw Anthony Kiedis, but I was gone when I saw Eddie Vedder.
- neatflux, on 09/06/2008, -0/+6Screw this list! If you want vocals w/o personality or rock n roll sensibilities, listen to American Idol or bubble-gum pop. metromix, you FAIL.
- RunJun, on 09/06/2008, -2/+8Seriously, that list can go ***** it's own ass for putting Yorke on that list.
- Egg333, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5Exactly what I was wondering. Seeing Pete Wentz on the cover of Rolling Stone killed any respect I had left for the magazine.
- B8R6N, on 09/06/2008, -1/+6More like every popular white lead singer, save for the safe pick at number one.
- terracottapai, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5Nice..
See that _3 at the end?
Means you were the 3rd person to submit it.
Which makes this the most ironic repost-bitching I've ever seen.
Kudos. - Hartley1942, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5So why the hell is he in music instead of writing?
- Fjosnisse, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5what about that douchebag Jacob Hoggard from hedley?
If you have to ask who that is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9l_h8_mbZsc
the video was made 2007/2008. HATE YOU JACOB HOGGARD. HATE - lphchld, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5I regret clicking that link, but I'd have to agree with you. I now hate him.
- benkant, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5Dugg for Chad Kroeger. When I hear that guy sing it makes me want to destroy something beautiful.
- Gosunkugi, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5I love the inclusion of Pete Doherty where they're just like "he actually makes pretty good music but uhhhh. He's... famous? He does a lot of drugs, I guess." What a marvelously half-baked list that's more interested in garnering a reaction than getting it right.
- jedinate, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4Wow, I don't know where you are going to shows, but the last 2 shows I saw cost $10 (lawn seats) and $35...
- alchemist27, on 09/06/2008, -1/+5what's RIGHT with rock/rap??
- Vito82, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4I was petrified that Jack White was gonna wind up on this list, but soo glad that he didn't!
I;m kinda suprised Mick Jagger was absent tho. - shauntacular, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Anyone successful I guess. Quit hatin' New York Metro Mix!
- kawaiirobo, on 09/06/2008, -1/+5Rock-rap makes the baby Jesus cry.
- jedinate, on 09/06/2008, -1/+5A list I mostly agree with. Not Eddie Vedder though, yes everyone copied his sound, that's not his fault. And to his credit, he started singing differently himself by the time Vitalogy came out. Neil Young anyone?
- trapilales, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3except that Nickleback should not be in the list in the first place since they're obviously not a rock band but a country band masquerading as a rock band.
