Despite the fact that they've mutilated the story-line and cast "The Rock", I'm still going to see it.

I thought it was going to be one of those retarded collages showing all the main characters in the movie or something. I'm glad they atleast kept the poster in the same style as the actual Doom games. But it looks like the movie will suck..

last time i heard i didnt know rock was the lead, i think it will be cool cause he looks neat when hes uber pissed and shooting *****.
i think the obvious white bullet holes on the movie poster look over the top. as far as the p90 goes, didnt the plasma gun kinda look like a p90 (oh and the movie wont follow the game exactly, did i mention that?).

1) just like resident evil this will have nothing to do with the actual game itself :P
2) did anyone see the pic of rock and whoever that is shooting up? in doom, you never shot up!! only in one direction, the bullets just followed the enemy...
3) there was only one charcter in doom!! not 20!! holy ***** this is getting worse the more i talk about it...
4) the main character was white! non tan! rock is sort of a good lead action role player, but no!
5) where's the first person shooting? are they going to just have a lot of shooting action and less talkie and while shooting they're going to cut the "rock cam."
6) ***** THIS *****! he'll probably jump and do ***** you weren't able to do in the actual game just like RE & RE:A, she jumps!! wtf was that! run and jumps off the wall and kicks the dog dead!! and let me guess...rock is going to punch the ***** out of the last boss right?
7) i really want to see how they do the closing sequence when you finish the game after those 2 huge monster in the pentragram level, how like it goes black and every monster is around you and killing you and *****...that would ***** sick!

But think about it.....we all grew up with DOOM. (For me I was in 6th grade at the time) Definitely will be interesting to see the Hollywood version of it. It's kinda cool to be able to say "I saw the beginning of that."
