watch it, spread it! - schweicks88, on 10/04/2008, -41/+212oooooh! Ron Paul grills Bernake in it!!!
- ShaoKahn, on 10/04/2008, -47/+174Every human should see this.
- Strman, on 10/04/2008, -116/+224Am I the only liberal/atheist who found Zeitgeist to be uninformed conspiracy *****?
- quesi, on 10/04/2008, -38/+137it's talking about money - sweet!
- boulderomen, on 10/04/2008, -37/+133Eyeopening to say the least.
- BrapAllgood, on 10/04/2008, -37/+130That was probably the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. I am stunned, honestly.
- Tyrghast, on 10/04/2008, -50/+142Dear god the fanboys come out of the woodwork like an iphone or dark knight story...
Guys, Zeitgeist raises some interesting points, but to accept everything it says blindly is about as stupid as voting republican. To take everything it says literally is to buy in to that idea of paranoia and mistrust that the government has been harboring and promoting over the last 50 years. It's sensationalist and you need to be critical of everything when watching a movie like it. - GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -36/+12220 minutes into it now...Forwarded to all contacts in my address book. Excellent summary of the monetary system by Peter Joseph!
- SaraLiberty, on 10/04/2008, -41/+120Brilliant...Another masterpiece from Joseph. Dugg & favorited. Thanks for the post.
- statrick, on 10/04/2008, -11/+84always remember folks
"condemnation without investigation is the highest form of ignorance."
Venus project seems pretty sweet, sign me up - OJXs, on 10/04/2008, -31/+95Digg me up if its a well researched information rich movie
Digg me down if its rubbish/propaganda
I dont know if its worth the watch, help me decide - JagPop, on 10/04/2008, -28/+91I have gone 31 minutes thus far.
Here are some flavorful notes I captured to share:
None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free
- Goethe
---------------------------------------
In tracing down another quote from the video I came across this quote
which can be contrasted with the War On Terror (GWOT is actually a flight from freedom and a succumbing to fear).
A man who is not afraid is not aggressive,
a man who has no sense of fear of any kind
is really a free,
a peaceful man.
Jiddu Krishnamurti
---------------------------------------
Here is the quote from the video that I was tracing down:
It is no measure of health
to be well adjusted to
a profoundly sick society
- Jiddu Krishnamurti
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You may want to Google and read a bit about:
The Hazard Circular of 1862
------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me digress and muse.
Finally. Is it an ironic coincidence, or no coincidence at all,
that the pamphlet quoted heavily from (at least during the first 31 minutes that I watched)
is: Modern Money Mechanics? (M&M&M)
I couldn't help but make the leap to the book Catch-22 wherein the syndicate shares (and planes and jeeps, etc) were marked with M&M.
Milo's slogan is, “Everybody has a share in the syndicate.”
Digression. - ciaran036, on 10/04/2008, -30/+91I'm 1hr30mins in. Unfortunately I have to head to work.... but much like the original, it has blown my mind...
- sheeplescareme, on 10/04/2008, -5/+66whilst one should never accept a film as the absolute truth, at least zeitgeist has gotten people thinking and questioning the "truth" they have been force fed throughout the years. for that alone it deserves a big thumbs up. haven't had the time to watch the whole thing yet though i intend to.
- Herostratus, on 10/04/2008, -43/+101I'm watching it right now, something tells me this is gonna be bigger then Zeitgeist.
Wake up people the revolution is now! - iampaul08, on 10/04/2008, -42/+97***** RELIGION
- kazz67, on 10/04/2008, -39/+91Just sent this link to my sister who, yesterday (during a conversation about fluoridated milk in schools), suggested that, whilst being a mine of information, she was worried that I was some sort of 'conspiracy theorist'.
Time she saw that the conspiracies are facts, not theories... (I already sent her the factual info she needed about fluoride). - XpLiCiTxX, on 10/04/2008, -32/+83Wow, that was 2 hours of ball-stomping facts and realizations. This movie, and the original ZeitGeist have forever made a lasting impact on my life and the way I live it.
Thank you. - TheBuz, on 10/04/2008, -15/+65Dugg for Bill Hicks voice in the very beginning.
- iancgi, on 10/04/2008, -24/+70I just finished watching. Such an amazing and eye opening film. It presents the complete fraud of the banking system that controls the monetary systems of nearly all first world countries, including the US. It also goes into detail on the outdated social structure of our society and its inherit flaws. The last part of the movie is so inspiring and beautiful. You should all show this to everyone you know and tell them to do the same..
- odigity, on 10/04/2008, -38/+83Zeitgeist I is one of my favorite documentaries of all time.
Just finished watching II. I think the creator has some basic premises wrong, and is therefore a bit misguided on his understanding of liberty, money, and free market economics. But on the whole, I agree with the remaining 80% of the flick. - GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -10/+52The movie is PRO CITIZEN propaganda, not state propaganda.
- dirtyword, on 10/04/2008, -103/+142this movie is propaganda. If you can't see that, you have a problem
- grantmoore3d, on 10/04/2008, -19/+58http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5547481422 ...
In case you haven't seen the first 3 sections of this documentary. As for the critics of this film, you are missing the point. The point is to use your mind and see things for yourselves, not to just follow something blindly. So yes, you shouldn't take anything it says as literal truth, but rather a perspective that you as an individual should explore, discuss and come to your own conclusions. - cl2yp71c, on 10/04/2008, -41/+78http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/q&a.htm
For the lemmings who claim this is propaganda. - Myonosken, on 10/04/2008, -14/+51How the ***** is it being a lemming to question something?
Dear god people like you are as bad as the ones you oppose. - GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -11/+47Have you seen the entire clip? Worth it for Bernanke's smug 'cat that ate the canary' expression alone. He gets ***** *SCHOOLED* big time...He knows it's a fraud and looks and Ron Paul like "you're not supposed to be revealing our secret like this!"
- PeaceChicken, on 10/04/2008, -23/+56This made my weekend. I can't wait to make a pot of coffee and watch. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, can't believe I forgot it was coming out this month!!
- Observant1, on 10/04/2008, -30/+63TWO THUMBS UP, MUST SEE, rating A++ !
some of it maybe seems a little esoteric for most, but I dont see it as flawed either, in its depictions of "society" and what is truly wrong with how things are run. - kazz67, on 10/04/2008, -4/+37Odd, I thought it was better than the first, basically because it gets right to the heart of our systems, i.e. money, and it offers solutions - and the first I rate as a must watch!
- TeamInsane72, on 10/04/2008, -6/+37For all those called this film "*****", the first part about the way our monetary system works is very true and real. Look it up.
- seddyei, on 10/04/2008, -3/+33It is about much more than money, it is about the collective ignorance forced onto every society, through the monetary system of debt and enslavement.
It is about the fundamental issue facing mankind as we know it, and without a doubt the most eye-opening 2 hours you could ever subject yourself to.

OCTOBER 10th - Let's make this a movement that cannot be stopped. Tell friends, family, and everyone you know about this movie and spread the word. - twistaspliff, on 10/04/2008, -23/+52Just finished watching it. It does a good job exposing the mess we are in with fractional reserve banking, but I think the idea that we can somehow transition from our current system into a resource based Utopian society is unfortunately impossible. I just don't think our species has evolved enough to be able to live without killing or enslaving each other. I mean... look around - the vast majority will NEVER wake up to the real world. It is simply too painful to think that they won't retire with their pension and live happily ever after.
Good movie, and I'll pass it around for sure, hoping that it will spark some critical thought, but I'm not going to hold my breath. - ciaran036, on 10/04/2008, -7/+34There's so many people Digging this down without even knowing what this is nor the significance of it.
This is, after all the SEQUEL to the MOST DOWNLOADED INTERNET FILM OF ALL TIME.
For those that Dugg down, go asleep and stay asleep... - Rapheal99, on 10/04/2008, -17/+44oh phew, thought i was the only one too.
- XanderDee, on 10/04/2008, -2/+28I want freedom.
- mephisto2k, on 10/04/2008, -14/+39Have you seen the addendum or is your comment meant for conspiracy "documentaries" in general?
In any case, this is not really a conspiracy movie. The explanation of the monetary system seemed pretty flawless to me, but I don't have a degree in economics. - cowman80i9, on 10/04/2008, -21/+45nope, you aren't
- fevilleg, on 10/04/2008, -19/+43nope, I'm an atheist/liberal and I was somewhat worried about its heavyhanded tactics.
- SystemError51, on 10/04/2008, -25/+49Seen it today. As great as the original, if not even better. We're picking up where we left off - at the Federal Reserve Bank, and continue on to offer, in my mind, a very feasible, much better, long-term solution for our society than what it is today. However this change will not occur over night.
Ultimately and in the end of the day, if you wanna make the world a better place, the revolution starts with you yourself. In your mind. It has to occur in you first - before you can truly achieve lasting change.

www.thevenusproject.com - KublaiKhan, on 10/04/2008, -65/+88Unfortunately, the first Zeitgeist was replete with sensationalism, fear-mongering, and flashy montages. I didn't see much substance (or, at least much substance based on hard fact rather than speculation and conspiracy theory).
So, yeah, I'll sit this one out. - logicalsyntax, on 10/04/2008, -1/+24Let’s do it!
- Colimus, on 10/04/2008, -2/+25Dugg for relevance.
- GovernmentSp00k, on 10/04/2008, -4/+26Wait 'till you hear John Perkins testimony..
- statrick, on 10/04/2008, -7/+28because Zeitgeist 1 attacks religion. and people who are really religious are very sensitive.
- wentwj, on 10/04/2008, -15/+36I always find it fascinating how people always look down on others for what they take as "facts" from experts, but then call you ignorant for not accepts facts presented in a YouTube video.
- inactive, on 10/04/2008, -27/+47This is our Timelines, Lifeline............
This need to go Viral, the world over.
http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/ - Sheeplike, on 10/04/2008, -3/+23Holy *****, their first movie depressed the ***** out of me. This one, just turned my entire structure of thinking around. I'm speechless.
- CubFan185, on 10/04/2008, -15/+34No! I agree with you 100%. This is like FOX news propaganda from the left, and it's embarrassing. I don't like how it is associated with liberals/atheists. Any true atheist who is a rational thinker would cringe at how poorly sourced the thing is.
