If everyone gets a different ending, how can the sequel then satisfy everyone ? The movie industry simply does not work that way. Movies have had different endings before, e.g. Blade Runner, but only after significant investments in time and money by the director and sometimes the studio. Setting out to shoot "multiple endings" that get through post-production just doesn't happen, the logistics make it wayyy too expensive. This is a BS tactic to try and counter the negative buzz on what is frankly a mediocre movie.

It was still a crap movie, multiple easter eggs won't make things better.
Thankfully, for Fox, people will still pay to watch this because there's a large portion of the population that's completely retarded and sees value in going to sit in a large room with a bunch of other sweating meatbags to watch some lame movie.

The acting was bad, weapon 11 was a super-tard, Black Eye Pees! I don't care how much Will I AM changes his voice it's still that dude from Black Eye Pees. This movie is going to bomb hard!

Yeah, thats a good way to make sure that people will download it instead of going to x number of theaters watching the different endings.
So what if I go to a theater and watch the movie, and end up disliking the ending? That would make me feel ripped off, thinking that perhaps I should have gone to another theater.
