- tastypastry, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I can't wait for this.
- Broadway, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11It's got the kid from the IBM linux commercial! Look closely at the end of the trailer.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3182711082396344549- apache2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3meh kinda but not quite, I just compared the two by pausing each. they are not the same person
- nfbarrett, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2he is the kid in "Ultraviolet"
- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1he's in ultraviolet, running scared, and he's an ancient in Stargate :)
wonder what he's gonna be in x-men... - rambler12013, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1His name is Dylan. He was on my little brother's basketball team. I know he was in the IBM commercial, but I don't know about X-Men.
- Parthymon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0He is the kid from ultraviolet and he is the mutant Leech in this one. If you want frame for frame, there is a part where beast is sticking his hand towards the kid and his hand turns from blue into a normal, human hand. I think it's funny that in ultraviolet, he plays a character that is key to curing/killing (don't want to spoil anything) the vampires and in xmen he's a mutant that is the key to curing (killing?) the mutants. gaaay

- TechknowPagan, on 10/12/2007, -63/+9Xmen RULE! Too bad its tainted by the "fox" brand, whats the point of taking a stand when you've already lost the war?
- Nodren, on 10/12/2007, -27/+15fox produces great shows such as 24 and family guy, and actually provides non liberal news broadcasting.. exactly what is wrong with them?
- Legato, on 10/12/2007, -9/+7firefly
- Wamzlee, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6Nodren,
um...I am pretty sure Family Guy ripped into Fox pretty good when the show was brought back from the dead.
Also, don't compare 20th Century Fox Television with the Fox News Channel too much, because its like comparing apples and oranges. - pinnette, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6the last 2 xmen movies were great(imo) and both were "tainted by fox". I don't understand your point. I would also like to point out that the '90s Saturday morning cartoon was pretty cool and should be released in a dvd set. This was also "tainted by fox". I hate that they cancel great shows like Family Guy and Arrested Development but they do put them out in the first place.

- schmiggyjk, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3Here is to hoping RATner doesnt screw this movie up.
Its bad enough news that is the "planned" last film in the serious, at least as they currently have it planned.
And the body suit Vinnie wears as Jugernaught is horrible. CGI any one?- Chongo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1just the fact that he's in it is good enough for me.....but your kind of right.
- mathewdev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1show your sources. is this really the last xmen.. say it aint so.
- Grandfinale1, on 10/12/2007, -64/+4Dupe.

- xodex, on 10/12/2007, -32/+6How lame... no HD trailers yet :(
- Dgen_X, on 10/12/2007, -30/+3edit: oh...this is actually a NEW trailer
I don't watch 24...so I didn't know...the old trailer was great...and available in HD! - lavawalker, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Here is HD. albeit the teaser version.

- Dgen_X, on 10/12/2007, -30/+3edit: oh...this is actually a NEW trailer
- drdcuddy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11did anyone see the asian guy that could make his face turn completely into spikes- resembling his asian hair do?
- bloaded, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2what about him
- jbthomas89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah I saw him.........his name is Quill.
- jizzimmy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Heh, Juggernaut looked kind of weak.
- Nodren, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6he does, but if he was completely CGI we'd all have complained about how they overdid it.
- jbthomas89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0True, but Vinnie Jones should do well as the Cain Marko/Juggernaut. He was probably the biggest, most decent actor Ratner could find that wasn't some bad acting wrestler. And, I most definitely agree with Nodren!
- UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -18/+2--- i withdraw my statement ---
- TheGalacticFork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Oh shat.....now that's how you end a trilogy....
This is going to be one to see.- beyondmatt, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0Um...I guess you don't remember how bad Matrix 3 sucked. I'd watch Back to the Future 3 10 times before I wasted my time on Matrix Revolutions again
- lukaso, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5It's gonna be really really good. I think this will be in the top 5 trilogys of all time along with Star Wars, Indianna Jones, The Matrix & The Godfather. Knocking Back to the Future down to #6.
What are the other all time best Trilogys that I am forgetting?- beelz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Lord of the rings for starters...
- lukaso, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I can't believe I forgot Lord of the Rings. Goodbye Godfather.
Here is the list of Top Box Office Trilogies:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/trilogy.htm - Chongo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I know everyone makes fun of Godfather III, but seriously.....it was so bad that it took the other two movies down a notch for "triology" rankings.......
- 1337d00d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Im pretty sure they are making Indiana Jones 4,, is that a quadradry
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I know it's trendy to make fun of Godfather III... but it really did have the best plot twist of all three of them.
- BaCk1a5h, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Rambo!
- Sal42, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2best trilogy ever... Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn/Army of Darkness!!!
- jpcoombs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The fact that you have the Matrix on there but forgot LOTR and the Man With No Name (Fist Full of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, The Good the Bad and the Ugly) says enough for me.
- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0star wars 1-3 grossed the most money, but starwars 4-6 is still the best trilogy IMHO.
- GoombaZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You forgot Terminator that's ofr damn sure.
- crapiolio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5WOW, that's cool. X-men armies!
- ninjakin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2this movie looks fing sweet I can not wait to see it!
dugg. - Dgen_X, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3holy lord
but I'm still worried that since David Hayter didn't have a hand in writing the script...and Bryan Singer didn't direct, this is going to end up an ok/decent movie
I'd love to see a 4th...but if this isn't as good as the first two it might screw our chances of any more- Sababaaa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah the loss of hayter and singer will probably make this my least favorite in the trilogy, although im still looking foward to seeing it.
No chance at a 4th though, after singer dipped we are lucky this one got made... Afterall it is called The Last Stand, haha
- Sababaaa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah the loss of hayter and singer will probably make this my least favorite in the trilogy, although im still looking foward to seeing it.
- beelz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8phoenix is going to own all.
- iBrent, on 10/12/2007, -72/+2***** gay. You're all dorks.
- noneloud, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3Wow, that looks awesome! I'm going to see it with my friends on graduation night :D
....on a side note.....did anyone else notice the peculiar coincidence that two stories that begin with "x" made it to the front page right after another? X-Men XM......I don't know, I just thought it was weird considering how little the letter X is used in our alphabet.- fishmasta, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5That's X-TREME!
- noneloud, on 10/12/2007, -11/+1"That's X-TREME!"
um....yeah....hmm o.0 - DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"I don't know, I just thought it was weird considering how little the letter X is used in our alphabet."
"X" has been overused in marketing since the early "extreme" 90s. Now we have a lower case "i" in front of everything. What makes X-men notable is that they came out in the 60s, long before the extreme era. - ashtonium, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Actualy, the letter X is all over the place in our culture right now. X is the "cool" letter that all the other letters wish they were. On the other hand, you're right Apple is heavily pushing the letter i on us ad nauseam lately.
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -14/+5OMFG.
24 rocked.
SPOILER!
http://gamerzplanet.net/forums/showthread.php?p=131993#post131993
And so did this trailer! - infra172, on 10/12/2007, -26/+2Looks absolutely terrible. Didn't they do the chemical extracted from mutants thing in the last movie?
- Chongo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3they did....but I'm thinking it's going to be like from the comic book Red Omega style. Notice how Beast gets near the child and his hand turns normal...... Red Omega had a DEATH factor where any non-mutant who gets near him dies. maybe it's like a anti-mutant factor or something.
- quamb, on 10/12/2007, -7/+7sorry to burst your bubbles but the script aparantly was really bad, and the director of rush hour isn't exactly a fan favourite either. trailer looks good, though so do most trailers. opinion? its going to stink and kill the x men movie franchise.
- CrimsonBlur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Actually I'd argue that many trailers actually don't do a movie justice, especially not the very first full-length trailer because they are trying to cater the movie the the widest possible audience, then they release some other ones for specific demographics. Look at the trailers for Pixar movies for example. They've never done their respective movies justice, but they've all been excellent movies. Granted a well-crafted trailer can make a bad movie look good too, so who knows. I thought the trailer was good, but not great. We'll see, I'm excited for the movie no matter what anyone says about the script or director, it will be hard to make it not entertaining after the excellent development led by the first two, but we'll see if it lives up!
BTW 24 was awesome tonight! Great show! - DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5The Aint-It-Cool-News crowd has trashed it, but I can at least tell from the trailer alone that Ratner has a much better handle on how to do action scenes than Singer does.
- Chongo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2here here....Phantom Menace anyone?

- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2oh *****, i missed 24 today, it's my favorite show on tv (well its the only show i watch besides john stewart and colbert report)
looks like i'm going to need to go ahead and download the episode..
oh yeah, x-men. awesome! the last one was great.- PunkFenixJT, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2you'll need to download 2 episodes, it was a 2 hour night tonight :)
and a REALLY good two hours - GhostFreeman, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Yeah, last night's episode was pretty hard-hitting.
- ModernTenshi, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I almost cried at the end of the last episode last night. Anyone who watched it and is a fan of the series knows what I'm talking about.

The Director of "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl" and the "Spy Kids" movies probibly wasnt a fan favorite either until he put out a little gem by the name of SIN CITY.
opinion? This movie is going to kick ass.- DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Uh incorrect, before he was the director of "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl" and the "Spy Kids" he was the director of "El Mariachi", "Desperado" and "From Dusk Til Dawn". He's always had a following.
- quamb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4actually Robert Rodriguez was/is a fan favourite. Bad example there.
Just because he did kids films never spoiled his 'cult' following.
Where as- Brett Ratner, a b-list director, has been called upon to direct a big budget sequel with a bad script and little to no time. And X-men aint your run of the mill action film either. There was a reason Fox hired Bryan Singer for the first 2, and wanted him for the third.
Already spoilers have leaked and it aint pretty- major xmen characters die, stupid romances, derivative set pieces etc etc. Though yeah, I am hoping it still kicks ass despite the bad press.
- RichPowers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2so is this the end of the x-men movies? or just the end of this story arc (to use comic book lingo)?
- brenthals, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've heard that there will be a Wolverine movie next.
- jbthomas89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is the end of the X-Men trilogy, hence the title X-Men: The Last Stand. Yet, there could still be more movies dealing with the X-Men. not necessarily dealing with the current plot lines. Tom Rothman said, "these three movies work as a trilogy. These characters in this relationship, it's the culmination of that saga. It's the culmination and the resolution of those relationships laid out in the first two movies." And, yes, Hugh Jackman will be in Wolverine, supposedly being released in 2007.
- goat77, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0This preview has been on Xbox Live Marketplace in 720p for a while.
- ashtonium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1so let me get this strait, do you have to pay xbox live service to watch the trailer?!?
- merdeisel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6A little late now but i wish that they used a hotter girl for Rogue, she was always a babe.
- mojofrojo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not just a hotter girl, a older girl would have been nice. The one they got is a cutie but makes most of my friends feel like a chester.
- Meshyf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Finally something at the movies to get excited about. Beast is awesome!
- Tripmoneyuk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"sorry to burst your bubbles but the script aparantly was really bad, and the director of rush hour isn't exactly a fan favourite either. trailer looks good, though so do most trailers. opinion? its going to stink and kill the x men movie franchise."
I read the supposed script for this film that was released online (quite a while back) & the original script was bad, but it's all been rewriten since then.
They have all the ingredients for a kick ass movie, so it will be a real shame if they mess it up. - cosmic, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2oh ***** yes
- ngageguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It would be great if they gave Jean a dark phoenix outfit like the comic (any of them) or let her do a "phoenix effect" ala CGI of course. Anyone care to try and photo-shop the actress in a comic-like Phoenix Effect? Something like what is seen on this page for instance? http://www.thephoenixforce.com/darkphoenix.html
If this is 1/2 as good as the other movies, I will die happy.- noneloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You never know, that might be in the movie itself. The great things I've found with these sorts of movies as of late is that the really-BIG moments are usually hidden or masked, so I still have hopes for other things not seen here.
- MystaMax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1simply AMAZING... Big fan right here!
- bnitro, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Looks sweet go Ratner!
- LuCiFer6, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Too bad bad they don't have Apocalypse in this movie. But the movie does look intense.
- inaxdaze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I couldn't really tell from the trailer whether or not Apocalypse was in the movie or not. It looked like they were going that direction with the mutant cure storyline, but then it ended up focusing on Magneto.
I wasn't that big a fan of the first two - they were good, don't get me wrong, but they did take a lot of "creative liberties" with the universe. The being said, this trailer does look pretty amazing - I like the idea of casting Kelsey Grammer as Beast.
I wouldn't mind seeing a movie adaption of the miniseries "Beyond Good and Evil" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004Y564/002-4265648-5374463?v=glance&n=404272). I loved this series.

- sinner0423, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This, and Spiderman 3, will sell obscene amounts of tickets. You cannot debate this.
- MacSage, on 10/12/2007, -28/+3A large portion of this movie was made using a Mac! :) hahahahahha Thhhhhh la la la !!! thhhthhthhht!!!
- ngageguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3one other thing I just noticed. The bald mutant who provides the cure does so just by being close to him/her. Freeze frame the trailer when the Beast reaches out and his hand changes from blue and fury to flesh. Sweet! Is the kid who bangs his hands together Rictor and who is the girl with dark hair laying on the floor, looks almost naked?? You have to freeze frame the trailer to see her from one or two frames to the next near the end.
- Brhine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The dark haired girl is Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, without the Mystique makeup. I'm guessing she was either cured or is near Leech, the boy who provides the cure. He is played by Cameron Bright who was the boy in God Send and is in Ultraviolet. He also played the decendant ancient younger bodied boyfriend of Carter in Stargate-SG1
- panicofficer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thank you brhine! I thought he looked like the SG1 ancient kid but I wasn't sure.
This film is going to be amazing! - ngageguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1sweet, thanks for the update. I haven't been reading much about the movie in advance, I like to be suprised. Leech huh? coolness.
- IDIGU, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0never really gotten into the xmen movies, but this one looks good.
http://aljitech.com/ ARCADE - absj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0juggernaut is freaking tiny =( is the bald kid leech? and i really wished they revamped magnetos helmet, really doesn't do him justice.
- AhronZombi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1im feeling it will be a horible hollywood rendition of a great book, just like the first 2
- vpcwiu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Anyone else think Juggernaut looks like Man-At-Arms from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe? heh heh...
- Dolemite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You mean 'Bullet Tooth Tony'?
- copper7op, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2holy *****. i cant wait.... i just about crapped my pants.
+Dugg - MrZop, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I'm friends with the guy who plays Omego Red. I got to go on the set and got a nifty touque and all that.
Sadly his char (Omega Red) got cut from the final edit. so he wont be appearing in the film. but he got paid and got credited. so thats the main part. but sadly it wont help his career cause it wont ever be seen. what a shame.- pinnette, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it'll probably make the dvd special features
- pinnette, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it'll probably make the dvd special features
