1 . CSI: Coruscant : Life in the New Republic Crime Labs dealing with exotic and unusual life forms and the forensic requirements in solving crimes. Midochlorians be damned !
2. The Gilmore Jedis : A Mum and Daughte form a close bond whilst young Lor 'el-I comes to terms with her growing desires to join the dark force and become like her grandparents.

My neighbor is an old Vietnam vet, and he likes the idea of a short, excitign series where an old veteran of countless Star Wars battles rebels against all the regular characters and goes gunning for them. The first episode would conclude suddenly, with a massive burst from a "grease gun" laser-taser ray. Poof, smell of burning Chewbaca fur.
After that, the Evil Veteran with a shiny black helmet would go hunting for the remaining characters (sort of like in Jimminy Snicket). I see Cheech Marin as the Vet.
In the reality series, "Star Hunt" would of course substitute paint-balls for the exploding anti-matter shells featured in the series. Punked by a paintball mortar! I see a definite spinoff in the real-life court battles that would doubtless follow. Could we shoot Judge Judy into space? International Space Station Court would be a giga-hit!

It's the biggest period of time that doesn't have any books written about it so they will have more flexibility in the what they can write about.

- Grypht, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, I'd read it would be a completely new cast, new characters, etc. Maybe they can make it more entertaining along the lines of the Cartoon Network series. I think it would be great to watch a new live-action Star Wars episode every week. And hopefully they'll add a wider variety of jedi, bounty hunters, planets, and the like to keep it fresh. Although, I don't know how many jedi they can fit in if the storylines take place after episode III... *sniff*
