- badqat, on 11/23/2008, -2/+307Inaccurate...Shatner is just giving his reaction to seeing a still of the new design of the Enterprise - not to the movie itself.
- cypher35, on 11/23/2008, -2/+247You're right, this is his response to the movie:

- Hoogs, on 11/23/2008, -6/+49Nerd.
- acknotSW, on 11/23/2008, -0/+43Ok, that was ***** hilarious.
- fanclerks, on 11/23/2008, -0/+41I'M CAPTAIN KIRK!!
***** awesome. - raptor000000, on 11/23/2008, -0/+38That was surprisingly creative and amusing.
- wonderbriefs, on 11/23/2008, -2/+36I would have liked to see a cameo from Shatner. It seems criminal not to include him.
- theradical, on 11/23/2008, -7/+38didn't he die in Generations?
- sw1nglinestaplr, on 11/23/2008, -1/+31What about when you fly through the atmosphere of the planets you're landing on? I would want to be aerodynamic then.
- RaDeus, on 11/23/2008, -4/+33think it looks great, like a mix of the Constitution-class and the Excelsior-class with a tad of Ambassador-class.
- luke374, on 11/23/2008, -1/+28Oh man, Shatner has his own YouTube channel. *Subscribes*
- dougm68, on 11/23/2008, -11/+38He still sounds bitter that JJ didn't let him have a role in the new trek.
"I could be Kirk's dad..er i mean older brother...c'mon JJ baby." - Cyberdactyl, on 11/23/2008, -1/+27I'M CAPTAIN KUUUUUUUUUURK!
LOL - Troy64, on 11/23/2008, -0/+26That was much better.
- xerexes1, on 11/23/2008, -6/+31Captain Kirk has spoken.
- seantubridy, on 11/23/2008, -1/+25Yeah, that was just awesome. A true LOL moment.
- AWBoy666, on 11/23/2008, -4/+27"So when I directed this, I was trying......"
- rollerboy, on 11/23/2008, -0/+23Did you guys know that the original Star Trek ship model was placed upside down because most of the ship scenes were filmed from the bottom up. I learned that on Reading Rainbow.
- INHUMANITY, on 11/23/2008, -0/+22Yes. I'll never forget that episode. I remember when one of SFX guys showed how the transporter effect worked. He poured gold glitter into a glass of water and mixed it around with a soon.
Reading Rainboooooow!! - DivisibleByZero, on 11/24/2008, -0/+19I love the Internet
- leonardutah, on 11/23/2008, -0/+18The Borg fly a cube. Whose side are you on?!!
- Rodik, on 11/23/2008, -2/+20"what matters is the shape... uhh... of the ship... is.... uhhh... ship shape!".... lol. i want some of whatever he's on.
- Bloodwine, on 11/23/2008, -1/+18Aerodynamics impress the space babes, though
- Pyrad1337, on 11/24/2008, -1/+16Dugg for drinking and digging
- leonardutah, on 11/23/2008, -1/+15Spock died in Wrath, and he's in the new movie.
- merdok, on 11/23/2008, -1/+15Am I the only one who LIKES the look of pretty much everything so far?
- detobu, on 11/23/2008, -2/+16Even Roddenberry has called him an *****.
- inactive, on 11/23/2008, -0/+13The Enterprise is basically just a disk (a really big flat thing). The only reason it looks like that is because the engines are mounted externally.
- ULBouzi, on 11/23/2008, -1/+14I thought it was bad when Diablo fans were crying about Diablo 3's art design. But if you pay close attention to the video's comments, "Trekkies" are complaining on how the Enterprise looks. LOL
- Chairboy, on 11/23/2008, -3/+16How could anyone do a play about Ceasar, didn't he die?
- elnerdo, on 11/23/2008, -1/+14I hate this idea of "ship shape" in sci-fi. I have never seen a single sci-fi thing set in space where the spaceships make sense (Except 2001).
Let me make this perfectly clear:
In space there is no reason to make your ship aerodynamic. It only make it worse. Spaceships should be shaped like cubes, or spheres, or really big flat things, depending on what you're trying to maximize. None of this aerodynamic crap, - acknotSW, on 11/23/2008, -3/+16LMAO, before I even clicked on the replay link, I totally ***** KNEW that was going to be the first comment. sorry, I'm drunk.
- Bloodwine, on 11/23/2008, -4/+17I just watched the trailer for the first time myself, and I have to say ... wtf ...
Star Trek XI: Michael Bay Extreme Edition 2.0 - Seidoger, on 11/23/2008, -0/+12Hahaha wow, talk about sweating.
- Chairboy, on 11/23/2008, -5/+16"Uh, there are things you can do with a lady, uh, Charlie, that you... Uh, there's no right way to hit a woman. I mean, man to man is one thing, but, um, man and woman, uh, it's, ah... is, uh... Well, it's, ah, another thing. Do you understand?" (TOS: "Charlie X")
The above quote could pretty easily be repurposed to fit this. - dagamer34, on 11/23/2008, -0/+10It's been a few years since we had a movie that was mostly set in space. I can't wait to see what CGI will make space look like now. :)
- johnnysaucepn, on 11/23/2008, -0/+10It's not always about actual aerodynamics. It's about locating propulsions systems and weapons, it's about keeping the radiation-producing engine parts away from the living quarters.
Most of all, it's about looking exciting and fast, which is the real reason they have to look aerodynamic. - NarutoRamen, on 11/23/2008, -7/+17The shat has hit the fan!
- BowieX, on 11/24/2008, -0/+10She shatner mouth.
- ASSASSYN360, on 11/23/2008, -7/+16JJ:" Your still not getting in the movie Shatner."
- caltheos, on 11/23/2008, -1/+9The borg had it right. Cubes and spheres. Spheres are the best bang for the buck though (most volume for given surface area)...try landing one of those on a planet though.
- mr100percent, on 11/24/2008, -2/+9Bridge on the captain
- dylio, on 11/24/2008, -1/+8THIS 4,000 DOLLAR SUIT? CMON!
- lewikee, on 11/24/2008, -0/+7"It shows that JJ. is in the tradition and in holding on to the ideals of construction which means he'll be holding on to the the ideals of Star Trek."
Mr. Spock would be very troubled by your use logic, Captain Kirk. - jmcneilly, on 11/23/2008, -1/+8Isn't the front of your tie supposed to be longer than the back of your tie?
- Crono, on 11/24/2008, -0/+7That was misleading he just talks about the new ship. Not the trailer.
