      If anything, the newer remakes of Batman plagiarized from Iron Man, with the Wayne company's "weapons division" and other revisionist stuff. Batman's had more makeovers than Mickey Mouse, which is saying a lot.

Contrary to popular belief, electronics can't come back after an EMP blast because the circuits are totally fried (yes, an EMP fries electronics through high voltage spikes. So, unless IronMan's suit is insulated and/or protected from from EMPs, the suit is still very vunerable.

      I put the advantage in Wayne's court, though, because I personally prefer someone who has been forcibly trained in martial arts as opposed to someone whose abilities only come from an iron suit.

          Besides, Batman is USED to going up against smarter, super powered enemies. He's USED to being outclassed yet still winning. Stark is used to using his suit and brute force to win. Batman would be more thorough in preparing for the fight. Being smarter is not an automatic win, you have to know how to fight your enemy. The kind of battle involved is one Batman is used to and Stark is not.

            Of Course they will both study their enemies, stark is reliant on suit AND his inteligence. Bruce is reliant on brute strength and his intelligence. Because of that they will prepare for the worst. And bruce didn't fight with his back broken. Azreal took his place until batman was healed and then batman took on azreal for his ruthlessness.

The way Stark handled as many different situations as he did during the Civil War run, there's no way you can discount his preparedness. He saw the way things were, knew where everything was going, and manipulated every person he needed to get an outcome he thought would be best. I mean, do you see Batman getting Robin to out himself on national television? no but Stark damn sure got Spiderman to do it and then he turned on him.
            I'm not saying Batman isn't prepared when he needs to be, I'm just saying Stark doesn't just rely on a suit to do some ass-kicking.

He had viable plans for taking out Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and everyone else and ALL OF THEM WORKED.

      Batman had his pan for taking down Iron Man in place years ago and knowing Batman, it will only take about five minutes to implement, if that. Stark may be smarter, but Batman is the better planner.

        Besides, "Batman vs Spawn" is not cannon by any stretch. Spawn only weighs around 300 to 400 pounds, not the "couple of tons" some people have posted. If he weighed a few tons, he's crash through most floors when he walked on them!

        Keep in mind, Spawn wasn't the first demonic beast Batman has faced. While Spawn is easily one of the more powerful ones, he's not THAT special compared to some of Batman's other demonic foes.

Spawn is special.... he can essentially do ANYTHING with his powers but is still a choice that might doom him for an eternity. But considering spawn has gone toe to toe with other deamons and angels it just seems odd that a gadget smart human can take him down upon chance encounter.

          What I really believe is that stressing the limits of fiction as it is the way batman is handled you cannot praise him for not being a superhuman because he is portrayed as a superhuman in most stories. Granted it all depends on the writers but most have seen it fit for him to actually fight and not nboutsmart people stronger than him.

Example: Bobby Fischer was actually an anti-semitic bigot who, I think most would agree, was not terribly smart.
