- shauntacular, on 10/16/2008, -3/+39What's The Dark Knight?
- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -1/+33Does the 3rd Batman Movie count, that still needs to be released?

- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -2/+28Punisher could've been a good candidate, but directors/filmmakers keep ***** it up.
- Shaggy3, on 10/16/2008, -2/+24Batman is a ***** ninja. You can't outdo a ninja.

- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -0/+17You mean the Avengers? Tony Stark is at the end of Hulk as well saying that he's putting a team together.
- bicyclethief, on 10/16/2008, -1/+18I don't think the public will embrace Watchmen anywhere near like Dark Knight.
I really dig the realism applied to the superhero genre in Watchmen but come on, the story was kind of out there. - Tyorant, on 10/16/2008, -0/+16"This time, they're breaking back in."
- CrackyJSquirrel, on 10/16/2008, -1/+15Who diggs down a Ren and Stimpy reference?
- BiznatchWang, on 10/16/2008, -4/+18I think Watchmen will be pretty epic. We'll see how it turns out.
- timusca, on 10/16/2008, -0/+14I feel so sad for myself that I know what that's from...
- pipdip, on 10/16/2008, -0/+13The reason the Dark Knight was so good was that it wasn't like other Superhero movies. Every other Superhero movie has a sense of unrealism to it. However, everything in the Dark Knight really could have happened.
- EdwardMass, on 10/16/2008, -1/+14X-Men should have been.

- bjs3171, on 10/16/2008, -1/+11I hope not. Iron Man was a fun, colorful action movie that perfectly toed the line between realism and cartoon. Dark Knight was a serious, uh, dark crime saga with absolutely no cartoon. both great, but completely different types of movies.

- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -10/+19Watchmen is the only one I could see coming close; and I figure they'll try to go big with Superman as well.
- crimsonnblue, on 10/16/2008, -6/+15Iron Man 2
Watch past the credits of the first one and you'll see why. It's sorta an easter egg... - AcousticBoom, on 10/16/2008, -3/+12Watchmen
If you haven't read the novel, I strongly suggest you get off your ass and pick up a copy right now. - swr1ght, on 10/16/2008, -1/+9Watching Transformers was like sitting in a dark room for two-and-a-half hours watching my childhood be sodomized. Seriously. I'll never be the same.
- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -0/+8The Dark Knight was a sequel.
- ryananger, on 10/16/2008, -0/+8If by "out there" you mean brilliant.
- gradivus, on 10/16/2008, -1/+9Odd parents, fairly odd parents, the ones you wish you had when you were a kid, its Fairy Odd Parents.

- inactive, on 10/16/2008, -1/+8My guess is the one that involves Batman and the Joker.
- highstriker, on 10/16/2008, -1/+8If they want to make a movie better than Dark Knight, I'd suggest the people behind these movies try being creative and innovative. Maybe if they could come up with more interesting plots and characters that are actually intriguing they might stand a chance. Just making a character darker isn't going to do the trick.
- osquid, on 10/16/2008, -2/+9Really want to see the Green Lantern movie. That's going to be awesome!

- leerayIG88, on 10/16/2008, -0/+7Can a Ninja defeat another Ninja?!
- acaloiar, on 10/16/2008, -0/+6Batman and Iron Man have been the only superhero movies capable of effectively tapping into the non-comic loving crowd so far, so I would say the next one will be either batman or iron man. That said, while iron man was a good superhero movie, it was not an amazing movie, whereas batman was a pretty pretty decent movie and an amazing superhero movie.
- UselessTrivia, on 10/16/2008, -0/+6Seriously? X-Men was the first comicbook movie?
Do you remember Superman?
How about the Tim Burton Batman movies?
And Spawn?
Captain America?
The Phantom?
Blade?
Even if you're only talking about the ones with the current blockbuster film style...The Crow is really where it all began to take a turn to the dark and gritty, more realistic look. X-men was a good movie, but it was a johnny-come-lately to the superhero movie scene. - ryananger, on 10/16/2008, -0/+6Most people don't realize that Blade is Marvel though...
- gradivus, on 10/16/2008, -1/+7WTF are you talking about? Cloverfield and Superbad? You may as well compare a Ford Taurus to the TARDIS.
- Zandarrr, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5How about Bat Man 3? (unknown official title)
- Wigmeister, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5I doubt that. After watching the trailer for that movie, I was like WTF. I'm somehow intrigued and might watch the movie anyway but there's no way in hell that it'll make as much as or be as good as the Dark Knight.
- bjs3171, on 10/16/2008, -1/+6Iron Man 2 will not be the next Dark Knight. Iron Man was a fun, colorful action movie that perfectly toed the line between realism and cartoon. Dark Knight was a serious, uh, dark crime saga with absolutely no cartoon. both great, but completely different types of movies.
I'm assuming this is asking that question and not just "which movie's gonna make a lot of money? durr durr durr..."
I'd go with, either Watchmen or, well, the next Batman movie. - amxlink, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5champion of the sun
- crimsonnblue, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5Probably so...
- g30ph, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5Ant-Man! Why Marvel thinks anyone gives a ***** about Ant-man, I have no ***** idea.
- Wreckage, on 10/16/2008, -0/+5Topless Wonder Woman......
- TheLoneWolf071, on 10/16/2008, -1/+5Watchmen hands down, past that, it's hard to predict this, it's not really the superhero that makes the movie great, but much rather the story line and action. Iron man rocked pretty hard, as RDJr was a good iron man and the story had a bit of thickness to it.
- ansatsu29, on 10/16/2008, -0/+4Hayden Christensen? Green Arrow?..
Duh...give me a break... - leerayIG88, on 10/16/2008, -0/+4it's actually a metaphor. A man who is called the 'night man' lurks in the dark and attacks people.
You know, kind of like what dog the bounty hunter does. -
