- Miyazaki, on 10/12/2007, -8/+18Despite what you may think, not all black actors are the same person.
- 66np66ip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8He was called the "Daywalker" in Blade, right?
Daywalker = vampire killer
Gallowwalker = zombie killer
zombies vampires = various forms of undead beasties
Therefore by the processes of correlation, Daywalker and Gallowwalker = same old *****
(Joseph beat me, ftw) - kazem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7"Snipes plays Kaos, the mysterious son of a nun who breaks her oath to ensure his survival. Kaos is a killer, but his mother's act brings a curse that re-animates the bodies of his victims, and naturally what they'd like is revenge. What goes around, comes around, and soon there's a zombie gang after him. Kaos gets help, though, in the form of a warrior sidekick named Fabulos."
Is it me, or does that seem like a terrible plot? Even the names are terrible. Oh well. - tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7He's never going to top "To Wong Foo..."
Ever. - apetrie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Zombies never go out of style.
- LtCarter47, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6"Kaos" and "Fabulos"? Yeah, I think I'll pass on this one.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6"Andrew Goth" That is just a badass name for a horror director......I'm not really sure if the movie will be any good, but the name does fit
- jam705, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5zombies were so last year... right now its all about "snakes on a plane!" filmed painstakingly with samuel l jackson
- rationalicthus, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11Oh, I didn't mistake Jackson for Snipes. I do have trouble from time to time mistaking snakes for zombies, though. I'm in counseling for my insensitivity, although I'm not sure which group is more insulted, the snakes or the zombies.
In related news, not all square are circles, and not all people have a sense of humor. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I probably like Blade because he reminds me of myself. Even though I am not Afro-American, and not a half-vampire armed to the teeth.
I do have sunglasses though - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Which travesty? The search returned too many results...
- jsd8cc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6"Gallowwalker?" Lame. Makes me think of "Beastmaster."
- Nougat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Passenger 57 was the best unplanned comedy ever.
- JosephTHogan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3In Blade they call him DayWalker... pretty similar
- WeeklyGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Do you wear them at night?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3He said Blade, not Corey Hart
- marix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2andrew goth... no way thats his real name!
- kazem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He had to have changed his name to that. Honestly.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't remember a single Wesley Snipes movie that has either made sense or was any good in any way. His project choices are just terrible.
- IvyMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I thought it said "Wesley Snipes Taking on Zombie Nets".
Actually, I think I would prefer to see that movie. - cogen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sounds like they're LARPing.
- icexe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2not many people have heard of Andrew Goth. The only movie of his that I've seen is B.U.S.T.E.D. (aka Everybody Loves Sunshine), which is a surprisingly good British gangster flick. Goth himself plays one of the main characters along with, of all people, David Bowie and Goldie. It had an awesome Drum & Bass soundtrack.
- LtCarter47, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I thought Demolition Man was pretty good, although he wasn't the lead role...
- zephc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2zombies movies are always a good idea (let us not mention that Uwe Boll travesty, please)
- Noein, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wesley Snipes has been making nothing but direct to video movies since Blade Trinity, and this sounds just like another nail in the coffin that's his career.
- Keddren, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Blade 2 wasn't terrible.
Three was a travesty. - mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I liked Blade 1. The next ones kinda.. well eh...
- alecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1White man can't jump and Moneytrain were pretty good.
- ChuckIT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2hell yes it's about snakes on a plane
- Chompy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"White man can't jump and Moneytrain were pretty good."
Excuse me, I believe you used "Money Train" and "Good" in the same sentence. Please report to your nearest termination center. - MindTrigger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1
I love Zombie and Vampire movies of all quality levels. Bring them on. - merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If this is anything like the first Blade ill love it.
- offput, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3it's ***** joke, grow up and stop thinking everybody's evil because they don't react to anything outside their own race with a fear of offense.
- soogy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What about Dawn of the Dead? Both the original and remake kick more ass than I can count. And 28 Days Later is awesome too, but that's technically not a zombie flick. There are a plethora of others too, but I'm lazy as hell.
- smeep2k4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think he's talking about House of the Dead. Believe it or not, the non-Boll directed House of the Dead 2 was worse. So bad, in fact, that I laughed throughout the entire movie (the scene where they are locked in a room in the school and have to open the grate on some ductwork comes to mind). So, as bad of a director as Boll is, there are worse. It's just too bad that video game companies keep selling him the rights to do movies based on their works.
- quack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1After the travesty that was "Cold & Dark", I really hope Andrew Goth can redeem himself.
- danecook, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It could be...at a nearby grocery store in Cali, the butchers name is Bill Cleaver
- Nightcrawler12, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah, this is a little too overwrought with the character names and the already obvious references to his Blade series. It's actually not a bad plot line, but I wish it had been done in another context (aka, with other actors). I still might see it for the story, but the cash-in aspects are pretty big.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Major League was probably his best...and it sucked.
- cyberghost232, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1just another genre that hollywood is gonna lose money on. they cant think of anything original anymore so here we go again. dont be mad at the customer for not wanting to see this crap its just been done way to many times.
- foetus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0He was in a movie called "The Waterdance"... not an action-flick, and it was an amazingly good flick. Other than that, I'd be hard-pressed to find a good Snipes movie...
- JackCroww, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's a dentist in Maine with a last name of Toothaker.
- flog4file, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0type-cast anyone
- Henry10, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like Wesley Snipes. He was great in New Jack City, Jungle Fever, Demolition man, White men can't jump, Blade (the first one) and Money Train. He should team up with Woody Harrelson again. They work great together.
- rationalicthus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Didn't they call Blade the Daywalker?
- DangerMouse9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nah, he was born out of the Goth family from The Sims
- TimDigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The original Blade was a classic, the other two were MEH
- wooderson23, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Didn't they call Blade the Daywalker?
- rationalicthus, on 10/12/2007, -14/+5I've had it with these mother#$%!!&* zombies on this mother#$%!!&* planet!".
