- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -2/+18Watchmen: bring an extra pair of pants.
- InfinitySnatch, on 10/07/2008, -2/+15If they're trying to stick to the comic as much as possible, then why are the cars emitting fumes?
- LukusLuke, on 10/08/2008, -1/+14Will there be a blue penis in it?
- cnot3, on 10/08/2008, -2/+14This movie looks really good. Glad to see Snyder's not letting Hollywood ruin it.
- StarryEyed75, on 10/08/2008, -0/+10Lol. It's a valid question though. Jon's privates are everywhere in the comic book.
- BradOFarrell, on 10/08/2008, -0/+8It's not, that cab is parked in front of a steam vent.
- oxdeltaxo, on 10/08/2008, -1/+8Who gives a *****?
- Jack8274, on 10/08/2008, -1/+7I would give your left and right nut to see it as well.
- Hipser, on 10/08/2008, -0/+4Dugg for Colbert.
- schmiggyjk, on 10/08/2008, -1/+5Coming from a guy asking a question like that, I bet you deal a lot with "blue genitalia". ;)
- MOates, on 10/08/2008, -0/+4This will easily be the best movie of next year.
- inactive, on 10/07/2008, -4/+7Glad it's not out 'til next year...now I don't have to choose between this and Nights in Rodanthe...I can see both!!!
- daRoach, on 10/08/2008, -2/+5Nobody asked.
- artofficial, on 10/08/2008, -1/+4You don't care enough to comment on it?
- Mujokan, on 10/08/2008, -0/+2I'm amazed Watchmen has this much buzz. (I had a Watchmen t-shirt in like 1991!) Good though. Hope everyone reads the comic.
(Trivia: There are two covers on two different editions. The UK one has the close-up of the smiley face with a drop of blood on it. This is actually the first frame of the comic. The US version has the second frame. So the UK version wins. /comicbookguyimpression) - inactive, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1Anticipated?
I still can't decide if this looks like something I would even bother renting.... maybe surf the channel if they are lucky.
Only redeeming value is Snyder - his other movies are badass. - inactive, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1All signs point to yes.
- smjenkins, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1that rorschach pic is great...it reinforces the fact that this movie will be badass everytime i see it
- WhiteHamster, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1It is supposed to be ozone definitely, it seems weird to overlook that fact when they're building everything else and paying so much attention to detail, and leaving that pretty significant part out. We will see, but there's no doubt in my mind that it will be amazing.
- NeoCortex, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1Only if he blue himself
- newman328, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1Call me crazy, but I'm still skeptical
- LilRabbitFooFoo, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1Maybe he has a thing for smurfs. Cause they make him look big? 8P
- inactive, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1Ripping on Watchmen on a predominantly geeky site...
Do you have some sort of death wish? - CaptainJapan, on 10/08/2008, -0/+0Good question...
- daRoach, on 10/08/2008, -1/+1It's just that this particular emission just happens to act and look exactly like the emissions from the cars we have right now.
- kommercial, on 03/09/2009, -0/+0Still gotta go see this one. Looks like its going to be good.
http://www.beatswagger.com - doctordbx, on 10/08/2008, -1/+1I kind of like my movies WITHOUT lashings of hype. Its the sleeper hits that usually win me over... and become classics. Not the overhyped "best movies everrrrrrrr!!!(*$)*#!"
Then again, I have read the graphic novel a few times and wasn't that wowed by it. It's a reasonable story, but IMHO the end is anti-climactical and just stretches the curve a bit too much. Psychic monster indeed.
Still I could be wrong. Still waiting for the movie adaption of Cerebus the Aadvark. - SodaForJones, on 10/08/2008, -1/+1there emitting ozone.
(If I remember right) - enzobot24, on 10/08/2008, -0/+0Why is this in Popular Mechanics?
- Mister8, on 10/08/2008, -0/+0Im glad to hear that the judge presiding over fox's lawsuit thinks the trailer looks good. Gives me hope that fox will just drop this *****. Probably wont though. I'm guessing a new trailer isn't to far away.
- littlenire, on 10/08/2008, -0/+0Yeah, it's there.
- hcmccga, on 10/09/2008, -0/+0Looks very cool. I'm really glad they're staying away from CGI. And btw, enzobot24, that is why it's in popularmechanics. They built all the sets and are not relying on the green screen or stock footage.
- jasongbc, on 10/08/2008, -0/+0I'm looking forward to both.
And GI Joe. - joesmithdigg, on 02/16/2009, -0/+0im gonna weight loss for watchmen
http://pills.equalweightloss.info - yahoofrom, on 10/08/2008, -1/+1come on come one i want to see that CGI pennis.
- ppg24, on 01/15/2009, -0/+0LOL.
http://www.flashgameplay.com/ - TheLoneWolf071, on 10/08/2008, -4/+2Just give us the ***** movie if you love it so much. We all want to see this movie, very very badly.
- vaccumpony, on 10/08/2008, -4/+1 Why waste your brain on the movie? No possible film adaptation will be able to offer the depth, emotion and intelligence that you would get from the graphic novel. How much of the story had to be sacrificed in order to fit it into two or three hours?
- bob_the_alien, on 10/08/2008, -6/+2Do you have some rule that you can only see 1 movie a year?
And yes, I actually would like to see Nights in Rodanthe, looks like it will be a good love story.
But Watchmen, i would give my left and right nut to see. - divinenibru, on 10/08/2008, -7/+2Most highly anticipated? What about Crank 2, that *****'s going to be epic.
- sneakeykop, on 10/07/2008, -12/+2
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
