- CydonianKnight7, on 12/26/2008, -14/+423***** fox.
- mysql101, on 12/26/2008, -4/+292On the other hand, if FOX has done what O'Brien suggests, and not "sat on the bacon" all this time, we would have ended up with FOX making "The Watchmen" movie back in the 80's. It would have sucked, and we wouldn't now be eagerly anticipating the movie from WB.
- Seemefearme, on 12/26/2008, -5/+254Great write up.
I especially liked the part where he told them to eat acres of dicks. - inactive, on 12/26/2008, -3/+230And there you have it, in a nutshell.
- pulse768, on 12/26/2008, -2/+182When reached for comment at his home, Alan Moore threw an empty bottle at reporters and invited both Fox and Warner Bros. to eat his dick. He then went inside and continued to do whatever the ***** he wanted.
- Skab, on 12/26/2008, -6/+124Dugg for fox eating dicks.
- theghoul, on 12/26/2008, -2/+111Dugg for using bacon to help me understand it clearly.
I love cracked. Awesome writers. - dasmonki, on 12/26/2008, -1/+92Dugg for "Should they eat all the dicks? Without a doubt."
- SirDaShadow, on 12/27/2008, -5/+778==============D D: <- Fox
- tumbler360, on 12/27/2008, -0/+71Exactly.
- Anarchon, on 12/26/2008, -9/+76Normally, I don't vote up cracked, even though I enjoy cracked, because of digg's cracked saturation. This, however, is too good a writeup to pass up. Dugg and dugg.
- Zombi, on 12/27/2008, -0/+61It's kind of a blurry situation. Fox does own the rights to the Watchmen, but Warner owns the rights to the DC licenses. So it was completely up to the court ruling to determine who was in the wrong. I just think that Warner should have worked something out before going ahead. It seems like most people don't know that Fox actually contacted Warner before production started to ask them to stop. This wasn't a last minute swoop as the author of this article thinks it is. Warner knew this would happen and tried to prepare themselves for the eventual fallout by ignoring Fox's request.
I don't agree with the ruling though. This is a substantial piece of work and Fox doesn't have any outlines, scripts, or storyboards to prove that they had planned things that were filmed, just a name. I guess that's all it takes though. - keithcostin, on 12/27/2008, -3/+60Check out my captcha for this post. Coincidence or divine? http://i39.tinypic.com/wjfdoh.jpg
- InfiniteNothing, on 12/27/2008, -2/+55What wolverine movie?
- MaxVivian, on 12/27/2008, -1/+50...so why the hell did Warner Brothers decide to go ahead and just make the movie if Fox owned the rights? Not that it doesn't look good or anything. But it seems like an idiotic move. If you don't want your movie to get screwed at the last second, you should probably either 1) Make movies that you own the rights to, or, 2) Get a hold of the rights to movies you want to make. I guess that's kind of the same as number one.
- cizzlebolicious, on 12/27/2008, -0/+48What? I can't hear you over the dicks in your mouth

- MWeather, on 12/27/2008, -3/+31And Family Guy, and they'll do it again.
- madrid, on 12/26/2008, -5/+31Did you even read this? This isn't about fanboy-ism, this is about justice, or the complete lack thereof.
- Halsfield, on 12/27/2008, -0/+25the absolute berries, indeed.
- rynsa, on 12/27/2008, -3/+28Fox lost me with the Firefly cancellation. I guess some things never change.
- swik, on 12/27/2008, -1/+24 At first look I thought the picture was Tobias from AD
- esentman, on 12/27/2008, -7/+30Hold on a second everybody... this movie is going to come out, and it'll probably come out on time. What the hell do you care if Fox now makes some of the profits? They rightfully deserve it. I know hating Fox is cool and all, but they're not doing anything illegal or even immoral here. And all the crap about them waiting until the trailers are released is BS. WB was approached by Fox several times during the production of the movie, but they simply ignored them. They should've maybe talked to Fox about somehow getting the rights to the movie first. This is much more so their fault. Fox is being perfectly legitimate in the fact that they should get profits off of something that THEY OWN. Don't worry, this finished movie isn't just going to get shelved. Just because you don't like Fox News don't bitch and act like this is some illegal or immoral thing they're doing. If somebody sold a piece of your own property, wouldn't you be pissed? Tell me how this is different.
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -0/+22so you are an heir?
- mimigins, on 12/27/2008, -0/+22Pirate it!
- darkwarrior006, on 12/27/2008, -0/+22Amen. im still very bitter over that cancellation, and Arrested Development. The only thing fox is good at is canceling good shows.
- megamod, on 12/27/2008, -0/+20Ravage The ***** Bacon?
- alexra, on 12/26/2008, -1/+21i don't think this movie would've ever been made in the 80s, , maybe the 90s, then it would've sucked, it probably would've been released around the same time as batman and robin, double the crap
- kingUssop, on 12/26/2008, -1/+21Who gives a ***** about these studios anyway? RTFB.
- graderguy, on 12/27/2008, -0/+19it was still a beautiful sentiment

- EddyG12, on 12/27/2008, -1/+17I, for one, would not like fox to desecrate my dick.

http://www.cracked.com/article_15759_10-things-chr ... - tehrich, on 12/27/2008, -1/+17The author says how Fox is doing nothing wrong, -legally-. That doesn't mean it's not a dick maneuver. They could have easily stopped this before it was made.
- Barackalypse, on 12/26/2008, -1/+16Once again Fox stands between me and the things I want to see. I really don't understand how a media company can manage to be successful doing that.
- Tanktunker, on 12/27/2008, -2/+17Dicks are not measured in acres.
- jamwil87, on 12/27/2008, -0/+15Screen grab of comment before comment is comment!
Brain asplodes. - OneOfNone, on 12/27/2008, -0/+15Oh but they ARE. Let's do the math: there's 3 bln (3x10^9) human dicks on Earth.
So, imagine a great rectangle, like monolith in "2001", composed of 3 bln dicks in array. Average adult diameter is 4 cm (thanks Wikipedia). That gives 480 hectares, or ~1,186 acres. Let's discount 186 acres for smaller sizes in boys and for more efficient hexagonal packing. Still, it's OVER 1,000 acres of dicks, and that's just for humans. - BassMasterP, on 12/27/2008, -2/+17and eating dicks
- Slique22, on 12/27/2008, -1/+15Maybe if you actually read the article, you'll see that the author agrees that Fox isn't doing anything wrong from a legal point of view. From a moral point of view though, it's a total dick move.
