- Stiffler, on 07/10/2009, -5/+97Nathan Fillion > Justin Timberlake
- SRSco, on 07/10/2009, -25/+94Timberlake is a good actor.
- angers, on 07/10/2009, -6/+72justin was pretty good in alpha dog I thought.
- Palmeiro, on 07/10/2009, -9/+52Timberlake has chops. Though he may not be the best candidate, I wouldn't be upset if he landed the role.
- PowderedToasty, on 07/10/2009, -5/+42I agree! As unlistenably ***** as his music is, he was really good in the two movies I remembers seeing him in (black snake moan and alpha dogs). I really want to not like him because of his music, but I can't bring myself to do it.
- DouglasQ, on 07/10/2009, -2/+35It's not obvious, but it's true. He's not a great VOICE actor (see Shrek 3) but he is a good actor. You just don't want him to be.
- jedinate, on 07/10/2009, -0/+31Unfortunately I have to agree too. I dislike his music, but his acting has been good, even his SNL stuff was funny as hell.
- Fuel90, on 07/10/2009, -3/+33I'm a mother lover.
- Johnnyjm, on 07/10/2009, -4/+31Isn't Ryan Reynolds going to be the lead in the Deadpool movie?
- voze, on 07/10/2009, -5/+29JT was good in Alpha Dog, I honestly think he could pull it off.
- senseilmno, on 07/10/2009, -11/+34Dear Hollywood,
Please stop raping my childhood. - Johnnyjm, on 07/10/2009, -2/+25Well I'm just saying its strange that he'll be playing two different superheros.
No need to be an *****. - minnecrapolis, on 07/10/2009, -6/+26Why the JT hate? The guy is actually quite funny.
Oh, I know why. This is a movie based on a comic book and you guys can't stand that a guy that actually gets laid is could play the role of your favorite fictional character.
What makes this especially funny (other than comic book nerds crying over it) is that even if he gets the role you dorks will still go see the movie and love it.
Go ahead, bury me. It only proves my point. - jdh24, on 07/10/2009, -12/+31two lounge lizards and the gayest straight guy on the planet. yawnnnnn
- bigteebo, on 07/10/2009, -2/+20Smoking Aces was good, and he was a fed in that.
- inactive, on 07/10/2009, -2/+18
since when has JT been a crappy actor?? he's decent, give him a break. - smacksaw, on 07/10/2009, -5/+21Jared Leto would have been rad, especially if they wanted to make a gritty version of the film. Personally, I like all three. I can make a case for Justin Timberlake because every time I see him doing something I think will be epic fail, he totally pulls it off. He's amazing in SNL. That guy can pretty much do anything he puts his mind to. As long as the movie is solid, he won't be anything but a pleasant surprise. I'm sure of that.
- novenator, on 07/10/2009, -18/+34If this douchebag scores the role, I won't go...and I'm a huge Green Lantern fan.
- lex0nyc, on 07/10/2009, -11/+24*****!
- noahhoward, on 07/10/2009, -1/+14We're past rape now, they've moved on to defiling the corpse.
- AnthonyJr, on 07/10/2009, -4/+16Does anyone actually know what the Green Lantern is about?
***** SPACE COP ALIENS WHO HAVE COOL SUPERPOWER RINGS, NO JOKE. - majortom1981, on 07/10/2009, -3/+15I think he does pretty well on Saturday Night Live. You never know he could be a god actor. Marky Marky turned out to be a decent one . lol
- cfuse, on 07/10/2009, -7/+18Jar of fart > Justin Timberlake.
- sildude, on 07/10/2009, -0/+9One reason I think he might actually do well.
- bigteebo, on 07/10/2009, -0/+9Bring it on down to Lanternville!
- RaulMuadDib, on 07/10/2009, -5/+14They should get Heath Ledger
- had3l, on 07/10/2009, -0/+8Ryan Reynolds is already Hannibal King and Deadpool. I know this is the DC Universe, but to play three different superheroes is kinda excessive...
- Dou6, on 07/10/2009, -1/+9actually seems like a perfect fit...
- SgtFish, on 07/10/2009, -0/+8***** Samuel L. Jackson as John Stewart.
That is all. - iMiles, on 07/10/2009, -1/+9Nathan Fillion all the way, imo.
- akaakc, on 07/10/2009, -0/+8I went into the SNL skits thinking, "Oh my god, this douche is going to ruin the show for years." But then, after watching a few of his skits...I was actually really impressed. Honestly, now I look forward to the SNLs that feature him. See the skit where he plays one of the brothers Gibb. He saves that skit, and he saves it well.
- Thepirateking, on 07/10/2009, -1/+8Nathan Fillion. That is all.
- dxchsdrgo, on 07/10/2009, -4/+10i hope its none of these guys
- GeorgeStone2, on 07/10/2009, -0/+6I think his comedies are funny. Just friends is a great film.
- RaFiCaLedward26, on 07/10/2009, -2/+8He's certainly a better actor than he ever was a musician
- ArchetypeRyan, on 07/10/2009, -2/+8I know the Hulk didn't turn out as well as people hoped, but Edward Norton would make a better Green Lantern than any of these guys. Also, Jared Leto? Last time I checked, Green Lantern wasn't emo.
- saintsfan, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5Jt just isn't right for the role. Ryan Reynolds gets laid a lot too and I would love to see him play the green lantern.
- norman619, on 07/10/2009, -2/+7rexuslexus:
You do realize I am NOT Hollywood right? I'm asking because based on your reply it sound slike you have no clue.
Excellent example of missing the point AND the joke. - rstarr, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5I thought Ryan Gosling had this role locked down like a year ago?
- Sherman901, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5Yeah, he's gotten a lot of respect from me. I used to think he was just some boy band airhead but he's actually a good actor and pretty damn funny. Pretty much talented all around.
- eatinshramps, on 07/10/2009, -2/+7OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *coughs* sorry man..I smoke.
- cfuse, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5and they'll come back for the funeral and ejaculate on the coffin.
- marmotjmarmot, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5John Stewart as...John Stewart.
Even that would be better to me. - suprememilo, on 07/10/2009, -3/+8I'd rather have him than either of the other two.
- LegomanArt, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4How doesn't Nathan Fillion get more work!
- TheNerdyBird, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4Maybe Guy, but not Hal.
http://www.thenerdybird.com/2009/07/is-warner-bros ... - MrZaiko, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4no Hayden Christensen eitheer
- norman619, on 07/10/2009, -10/+14Dear senseilmno,
You don't have to go see the film.
Regards,
Hollywood - kasjogren, on 07/10/2009, -1/+5They let Shai LE-BOOF on screen...
