Am I the only one who saw irony in given away little pieces of trash at the premier for a movie where the whole premise is our planet being destroyed by trash? ***** awesome Disney!

- Asrrin29, on 06/28/2008, -1/+29It's nerd friendly, family friendly, and romance friendly. It has some good adult themes about consumerism and the future, but lots of cute stuff for saps and kids. It clicks with pretty much every movie-going niche except for maybe hardcore blood and guts action types. It is definatly one of the best movies I've seen in theaters in quite a while.

Just wanted to mention that the CGI has really improved in this movie, it is pretty ***** crazy how detailed it is this time around. - LuxFX, on 06/29/2008, -0/+23My favorite hidden joke was the robot operating the binary keyboard (he was guarding an elevator or door entrance, I can't remember exactly). The keyboard had a couple hundred keys but they were all 1's and 0's. And the robot was hunt-and-peck typing anyway!

And 'BURN-E' isn't exactly an easter egg... It's not like they added him in reference to anything... The supposed movie about him isn't even available yet, and he was part of the plot (sort of.)

I took my daughters to the movie, on the way home I asked who was their favourite character. They both liked Eve (She is admittedly badass), and I liked the ships captain. This story wasn't about Wall-E himself even if he was the protagonist... - fowleryo, on 06/28/2008, -0/+11easily the best of 08

- inactive, on 06/28/2008, -0/+10Its the mac chine from around the mid 90s I think. There were many variations depending on machines and the year they came out in, all very slightly differentiated. The compact macs and that era made a high pitched bing where as now they make a low pitched bong sound. The one in the movie sounded like my powerbook 1400cs.
