Just because he's a hunk and he LOOKS dumb, everyone loves to pick on him. I don't give a ***** about him - being picked on comes with his job - but it just makes you people look stupider than him, because you're not basing your criticism in any plausible reason. Just that he looks dumb. Great. You are adult individuals who resort to school bully tactics, based on people's appearance. Doesn't say much about your own intelligence, does it?

- staffa, on 04/04/2009, -0/+6If you payed attention during the movie, you would know they were genetically engineered to be a weapon that operates only at night. They would release it at the start of the evening, wait for all their enemies to die, then cleanup in the morning.
The reason they used this planet to experiment with the species is because they thought the planet had no night, hence if it got free, it couldn't do any harm. Until the eclipse came of course, then the ***** hit the fan, but you know the rest.

Seriously his work in the "The Chronicles of Riddick." was very under appreciated. All actors have what they are good at when they break from that is when it gets bad for them. I seriously want to see "The Chronicles of Riddick 2".

- iskin, on 04/04/2009, -0/+3I used to work a job where I got to meet a lot of celebrities, most are pretty cool and Vin Diesel is definitely near the top of that list. I would imagine that he keeps getting work just because he is a cool guy that you want to do well.

Movies that I remember seeing previews/posters/commercials for or actually saw: Beverly Hills Chihuahua, the Happening, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Meet Dave, Leatherheads, 10,000 BC, One Missed Call, every "genre movie" movie, the House Bunny, Love Guru, Max Payne, Never Back Down and the list goes on and on.

- jbmcb, on 04/04/2009, -0/+1He was very good in Boiler Room, Find Me Guilty, and surprisingly good in Pitch Black, which is one of my favorite horror/action movies from the last decade or so. The first two were good movies, but he didn't really star in them. The rest I could care less for, though I honestly didn't sit through most of them all the way.

He stole his accent, he stole his bald head and he stole his tough guy shtick, I think the one really good thing he has going for him is that he is more of a hard body than Telly ever was, hence he is good in the action scenes.
