filmwad.com — I'm not even sure how many geekgasms I can possibly have in one sitting, but I've at least experienced 13 in the last 2 minutes. Damn you Michael Bay! Damn you to hell for making me think twice about your film hack ways! For all of you readers out there, enjoy!

Besides, they could have been bringing out oh lets say The Notebook2 - now that would be painful....

  • therealrico, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Alot of people are bitching about how bad this looks, Micheal Bay is not the greatest director in the world, but this isn't meant to be an oscar worthy flick, it is gonna be some 20 somethings reliving the 1980s, and watching our beloved transformers and what they would have looked like in real life. I for one can't wait, and I hope it kicks ass!

    • maggiemerc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Beloved Transformers....I was a big fan back in the day. Had comics and action figures and pajamas and everything... Then last year I caught a few episodes and cried, watching my childhood reveal itself to be utter CRAP.

      Same with TMNT. I mean have you watched the first episode? April meets the turtles because she's running from bad guys and face plants a WALL. And Shredder wants to beat the turtles by making people hate them.

      Lay your childhood to rest and enjoy cool looking robots smash things.

    Look this is a movie full of giant robots and explosions and it isn't T3. So what more can you want?

    And Michael Bay is directing so there will be a skin factor.

    So sit down, shut up and watch big robots crush things.

I hate that Megatron has a blender-vagina mouth, and I will be all disgruntled when I hand my cash over to the zit-covered kid selling tickets on opening day.

      bumblebee hasn't been a VW bug in many, many years.

      ....so true, this is nothing like we had back in the 80's, they should have sticked to the original models, for us to see familiar faces (or shapes)

  • Busky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's not the aesthetic changes that bother me. I could care less what Optimus Prime looks like. It's the stuff that detracts me from enjoying it on the level that it's on: groan inducing moments like Tyrese screaming "Bring it!" and Bernie Mac's ridiculous speech about car shopping. I think the theatrical trailer worked so well because there was so little dialogue. Now, I fear a repeat of The Island with its stereotypical sassy black nurse. I would have loved to enjoy that movie but, man, Bay made it almost impossible for me to shut off my brain. I'm holding out hope for this one though.
