- anexanhume, on 06/08/2009, -3/+90Am I alone in saying I really don't like Will Fer...SQUIRREL!
- JohnDo, on 06/07/2009, -1/+76I really liked the Hangover, I was actually surprised at how full the theatre was.
- wolfing, on 06/08/2009, -9/+67I don't find Ferrell funny. Yes he's been in funny movies, but as for himself, not really.
- TheBigBad, on 06/08/2009, -3/+51Don't underestimate your taste for penis.
- drmangrum, on 06/08/2009, -2/+45Is anyone surprised? Even the trailers for Lost were awful. If the trailer is bad, there is no hope for the movie.
- digitaldivinci, on 06/08/2009, -2/+43I am fairly glad it failed. Land of the Lost was that early summer movie that went out of it's way to promote the hell out of itself to fill seats. Subway promotion? Being on every single late night show and Daily Show in addition to early morning talk shows? For god sakes, even Adult Swim was doing a promotion.
I don't know about you, but the more aggressively I am advertised to, the less likely I am to buy the product. - AwakeningAZ, on 06/08/2009, -2/+43The Hangover was hilarious, but had a bit too much penis for my taste.
- shlebede, on 06/07/2009, -5/+42Watching "Land of the Lost" was like taking roofies.
See what I did there? - inactive, on 06/08/2009, -0/+32"The Will Ferrell starrer grossed $19.5 million from 3,521 theaters, well below the $30 million the studio had hoped for."
Did they watch the movie before releasing it? - blitzwing85, on 06/08/2009, -0/+30Never even thought about it. When it's Heather Graham and her boob, I tend to be a bit distracted.
- mdamman, on 06/08/2009, -0/+27UPDATE -- With a strong Sunday push, The Hangover actually popped Up's balloon - and took the box office prize.

- mobbo, on 06/08/2009, -1/+26I'm using Zach Galifianakis' "wolf pack" speech when I give my best man speech at my friend's wedding this summer.
- happytrees, on 06/08/2009, -1/+23that dog stole the movie. he was so fu...SQUIRREL!!
- dstrizzle69, on 06/07/2009, -1/+21Dugg for great title
- macmcraeart, on 06/07/2009, -3/+23Thwack! ( Russell with skinny red whelp on his face - sits down next to Mr. Fredricksen )
"Tents are hard...." - infamousjr, on 06/07/2009, -1/+20Maybe Ferrell is losing his touch or he can stop doing remakes. Either way disappointing opening weekend.
- santiago1, on 06/08/2009, -1/+19Guys, knock it off! That joke is only funny onc...SQUIRREL!
- godinster, on 06/08/2009, -2/+20Maybe Will Ferrel will stop making movies.
Oh who am I kidding. If only. - takamalak, on 06/08/2009, -1/+18Trust me, your mom would have loved it.
- inactive, on 06/08/2009, -9/+25I watched Wall-E for the 1st time last week and was blown away. One of the best movies I've ever seen.
Went out and saw Up! in 3-D the same night. Both great. Wall-E is #1 though. - jc7012, on 06/08/2009, -0/+16Dugg for heather graham's tit.
- FXPooky, on 06/08/2009, -2/+17God, tell me about it. The dog and the bird were both so hil...SQUIRREL!!!
- Jektal, on 06/08/2009, -1/+16It's funny 'cause the squirrel gets dead.
- chicagojack, on 06/07/2009, -7/+21Any one else creaped out at the notion of a prostitute/stripper actively nursing?!?
- FXPooky, on 06/08/2009, -1/+14I actually vastly preferred Up's themes and morals, as they were less preachy and more original and relevant to everyday life. I also thought the humor in Up was a lot better (one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time).
Poetically speaking, though, Wall-E edges it out, and Up is a bit of a strange concept. Still, I think I actually preferred Up to Wall-E, though I might need to rewatch both to be sure. - JQP123, on 06/08/2009, -0/+12About half of Ferrell's stuff is just plain dumb. Maybe to some people dumb is just as entertaining and enjoyable as funny.
- fupresti, on 06/08/2009, -0/+12Pixar is 10 for 10 with regards to phenomenal movies. Even the one's you consider lesser quality to the others are still destined to be classics.
He is hoping Toy Story 3 meets my lofty expectations. - joerod, on 06/08/2009, -0/+12Up is a great movie not only for kids..
- kurupttek, on 06/08/2009, -1/+12But if he's been murdered by crystal meth tweakers, well then we're sh!t out of luck.
- inactive, on 06/08/2009, -1/+11Lost his touch of acting like a screaming buffoon?
- nite002, on 06/08/2009, -1/+11You have a penis as your icon.
- kiiwii, on 06/08/2009, -2/+12...really? Why do you care so much?
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+9Don't forget Will on Man vs. Wild as well.
- inactive, on 06/08/2009, -1/+10You're just mad because it made you cry.
- TheKingInYellow, on 06/08/2009, -3/+12my message to universal:
hope in one hand and ***** in the other...
you were competing with pixar, what did you expect? - mizuhri, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9I was also surprised at the turnout to 'The Hangover' at my local theater. The only movies that usually sell out are Fast and Furious and other stupid movies. The theater was completely full at the 8 o'clock showing. It will be a classic. I went to see the movie again at 12 Saturday to catch some of the jokes I may of missed the night before and the theater was 90% full at noon. If you haven't seen the movie you need to go see it.
- Firespray1138, on 06/08/2009, -1/+10Anyone else get screwed over and not have the Toy Story 3 teaser attached to Up?
- NikoKun, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9I agree... I saw Up, and it was ok... But I don't think anyone could say Up was better than Wall-E.
I will say that Up had a feel about it's story, that reminded me of a Miyazaki story. - mattyboy555, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9The Hangover was one of the few moviess where they didn't show all the funny parts in the trailer.
Awesome movie, had me in tears in some parts. - VinnieDaMac, on 06/08/2009, -0/+9After seeing UP, i'm not surprised. It's awesome.
- KimmyGibbler, on 06/08/2009, -1/+10My girlfriend still can't stop talking about She's Not That Into You; does this mean that that movie was very good?
- geoman2k, on 06/08/2009, -0/+8no *****. i don't need to go to the theater to see this movie because i've already seen all of the funny parts in the 50 ***** trailers they've shoved down my throat.
- Bloodwine, on 06/08/2009, -1/+9In Ferrell's defense, the source material is pretty awful.
I was born in 1977, so I have no nostalgia attached to the original series. When I watched a marathon of the original series this week on the Sci-Fi channel I was greatly unimpressed. It was pretty much MST3K material. - ATLChris, on 06/08/2009, -1/+9This is actually FALSE: http://digg.com/movies/Hangover_actually_BEAT_Up
The Hangover had a strong Sunday for the win! - ptsuk, on 06/08/2009, -2/+9you mean rapies? ;)
- Manchildcartoon, on 06/08/2009, -2/+9Seriously this was amazing.
I'm sick of all these comedies about grown men who love weed or teens on the quest to get laid.
This was like an anti apatow movie.
Loved every minute of it.
and it's about time we get a just balls out weird character instead of the usual man child that Vauhn, Ferrel, rogan ect, seem to always play.
Zach will always be the man. - chrrie, on 06/08/2009, -0/+7Pixar does a great job of making childrens movies that are just as, or more, enjoyable to adults. The shout out to Fentons was pretty sweet too.
- 1ofMany, on 06/08/2009, -1/+7Will Ferrell, Jack Black and Adam Sandler have never done it for me. I realize I'm in the minority and respect anyone who chooses to watch their movies.
- TheKingInYellow, on 06/08/2009, -0/+5i agree. zoolander's mugatu was hilarious. he was even tolerable in stranger than fiction. step brothers (and the like)...not so much.
