- inactive, on 07/15/2009, -0/+19"Weekend at Bernie's 2" was definitely the worst! Really...how long can a dead person be kept alive? Totally ridiculous.
- ChronicColonic, on 07/16/2009, -0/+12Spoon boy: Do not try and watch the sequels. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon boy: There are no sequels.
Neo: There are no sequels?
Spoon boy: Then you'll see, that it is not the sequels that sucks, it is only yourself. - hankthedwarf, on 07/16/2009, -0/+12Caddy Shack? (should be Caddyshack)
Sophia "Copula" ?

Written by someone who suffered severe head trauma, clearly. - inactive, on 07/16/2009, -1/+12Legally Blonde 2: Red White & Blonde was god awful. (Yes, I saw the first one so I could get laid)

- bubbameister33, on 07/16/2009, -0/+8Breakin' 2 is the best worst movie ever.

- jordanlgta, on 07/16/2009, -0/+7The Ring Two might be the most disappointing sequel I've ever paid for to see in a movie theater.
- ShingoEX, on 07/16/2009, -0/+7"It's amazing that something as brief as the break dancing fade (fade?) of 1984 had 2...count'em 2... movies made about it."
I did "count'em"...and they forgot Beat Street. - nepidae, on 07/16/2009, -0/+6starship troopers 2
- Khast, on 07/16/2009, -1/+7[insert Disney animated movie franchise] [add a number]...I can only think of 2 Disney animated sequels that actually were decent, but not great...the rest were pure and utter crap produced with "Cash Cow" written somewhere on the Direct to DVD cover...usually right under "Disney"
- gimmeagob, on 07/16/2009, -1/+7Jason Bateman has totally redeemed himself for any terrible mistakes he might have made in the past as far as I'm concerned

- BedPost, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4Han shot first!
- MrHawkins, on 07/16/2009, -2/+6Yes, the prequels for Star Wars were retarded. How were the re-releases of the original ***** though?
- winguero, on 07/15/2009, -0/+4It was an error that Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo made it on that list, right??
- trouserslacks, on 07/15/2009, -3/+6Aren't these... sequel "types"?
- beabbott21, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3joy ride 2: dead ahead. probably the worst movie i have ever seen.
- Bitties, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3Shreck instead of Shrek...
Also, I wasn't expecting much from the website "thephatphree.com"... - mxdxo, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3Baby Geniuses 2

- boombume, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3How did Batman 3 and 4 not make this list?

- falconear, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Why I know this I don't know, but here's the deal with Halloween III: Originally the plan was never to do another Michael Myers, but do two film chapters with different stories. There was supposed to be a sequel to the "maggots ate the kids brains through the masks" movie dealing with whatever happens after the third station doesn't turn off, then Halloween V was supposed to be an entirely new story. Then Carpenter bailed, and you know the rest.
"Two more days to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween. Two more days till Halloween...SILVER SHAMROCK! DO DE DO DE DO DE DO..." - leonardutah, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3There's a scene in Weekend at Bernie's 2 where Bernie is being dragged by something and he flies down the beach and rips the tops off of two bikini clad ladies on the beach. Oh, and in those dark days before yon interwebs, I remember going frame by frame on the VHS player to see some boobage.
My point? Kids today are spoiled, (and probably ruined by 2 girls 1 cup), and that Weekend at Bernie's 2 will always have a special place in my heart. - Khast, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Rescuers: Down Under
Lion King 2
For a sequel, Lion King 2 actually kind of fit as a sequel, and the story was actually pretty good. (Albeit, it also took que heavily from the Kimba series...) - rocknog, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Rescuers Down Under and... What, exactly? I'm drawing a blank here.
- R1100S, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Iron Eagle 2.
Doug Masters was my hero from 9 years old until my 11th birthday. That's the day my parents took me to see Iron Eagle 2.
And what did they do? They killed off my hero in the first 2 minutes of this ***** fest, and ruined my birthday.
(To add insult to injury, they bring him back in IE4, albiet a different actor) - BrownieMix, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2House of the Dead 2.
- tamano, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2"Leprechaun 4 : In Space" was the ***** though.
"..... On the planet Dominia, when a woman of royal blood shows you her breasts, it's a death sentence. (takes her cloth off)"
Come on, that was like best excuse for nudity!!! - vwvwvw, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Wargames: The Dead Code - Never saw it, but then again, I never wiped my ass with sandpaper either.
- MBomber50, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Bad, but not as bad as the direct-to-video Legally BlondeS. (watched babysitting)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1015999/ - tympanicttu, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Sir, I applaud your honesty.
- dbalaski, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2they forgot "Major League: Back to the Minors (1998) "
maybe because it combined serveral of their categories into on movie
(ie: where are all the original actors? how bad could it be ? etc)
I do agree with some of the other comments and my additions:
Legally Blonde II
Dirty Dancing II : Havana Nights
Rocky V
Superman III
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
Highlander 2: The Quickening
Highlander III: The Sorcerer
Robocop II
Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation **
Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love**
** do sequels so bad they are released as tv movies count ?
Poltergeist 2 & 3
any Halloween or Friday the 13th past the original one
matrix 2 & 3 - Foenetik, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Evil Dead 2?!? oh hell. *****. naww. on top of that the layout of this site is *****, and he dissed the boogaloo. anyone that dugg this story can just eat a bag of dicks. pronto.
- Roykirk, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Highlanders 2 & 3 blew, especially the Sickening, but I did like the 4th, simply because I suddenly realized how to look at the Highlander films: each one takes place in an alternate universe from all the others. That way, I was able to preserve my love for the first without having it sullied completely by the atrocious second film. 3 was forgettable and not near as offensive as 2, and 4 was in the alternate universe of the TV series, and so had nothing to do with the original Highlander.
Look at them all, and see how they changed the original "there can be only one" to "there can be as many as we want so long as the franchise keeps crapping money." Then they retconned Connor's past with each new movie, forgetting what had gone before and adding new *****. Just kick back and see Highlander as it's own movie in its own universe, and the pain of the others won't cause you to grit your teeth as badly.
Try it.
Oh, and why was Highlander 2 not on this list? It's the classic sequel that sucks by which all other sequel suckitude is judged. - xino, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2I also enjoyed the Star Wars prequels.
- kitsua, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1Predator 2 is great.
- brownsound00, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1I'll agree with you on that. Then they screwed up lion king with Lion King 1.5 or whatever
- Kajaah117, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1Because having Hayden Christensen ruin the prequels was one thing, but digitally inserting him into Return of the Jedi is cruel. That's like someone going through your family photos and replacing your face with Jar Jar Binks. Leave my memories alone!
- Kajaah117, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1I REALLY liked it for some reason. I think it came out at a good time in my life when I was young and gullible. I remember seeing the bonus features that point out all the Pentagrams and Blair Witch "stickmen" things and thinking it was all real. I remember the goth chick being kind of hot too, though my memory has replaced her with Kat Dennings for whatever reason...
And whatever, at least you got to see future Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan. :P - Kajaah117, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1Yeah man, the first one was a masterpiece. The social satire was brilliant and the cinematography was just breathtaking.
- aurorous, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1An interesting little factoid about the breakin' movies. Buried in the credits of the first movie is an advert for the second one. which means they were already making it when the first one came out.
- Kajaah117, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1"mta mta mta mta,
8 more days till Halloween, Halloween, Halloween,
8 more days till Halloween,
...Silver Shamrock."
"Take it off the air! Stop it... STOP IT!!!"
That movie is so insane. -
