  • Zoctogon, on 02/29/2008, -0/+6The boom is because the rights and certain legal issues with Marvel has only become untangled recently, finally allowing for films to be made of their comics. Notice how most of the movies on that list were DC Comics but none were Marvel?

  • meed, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2wtf, two of my favorite comic book movies were snubbed. Captian America 1990 and The Punisher 1989. DIck Tracey and the Shadow? give me a f'ing break, those were radio shows later adapted to comic books. If your going to include stuff that didn't originate in a comic book, then you must include Transformers: The Movie 1986 and G.I. Joe: the movie 1987 too.

    Also I noticed the author used an apostrophe as a "look out! here comes an S!" mark as well. The moral: there is no excuse for stuff like this, proof read your work before you get submitted to Digg.
