I burned my Star Wars DVDs and bought the original theatrical releases, which come with the added bonus of no digital Jabba the Hutt and the original voice for Boba Fett rather than the emotionless one by the actor from the prequels.

I've seen a decent number of them and some are even okay but it's my least favorite genre. I think you have to be a little sadistic to enjoy the genre and especially when you seek out the notorious ones like Cannibal Holocaust or I Spit On Your Grave. Sadism just isn't very admirable in my book.

First it's the sister of the family's mother. She scared the ***** out of me.. Then it's the part where the father comes home, walks through the house and suddenly the attic-door opens and the mother falls out with a noose around her neck, followed by the kid jumping down with a scalpel.

You've got a scene where a guy is scalded with oil, a scene where the protagonist ejaculates watching a woman get beaten/raped and the scene where a guy makes himself deaf for no apparent reason other than to know what it's like (the screaming may've done it).
