- matt0r, on 11/15/2007, -0/+30whoa whoa whoa
jingle all the way should not even be mentioned in this article - fluidfoundation, on 11/15/2007, -3/+32I'm going to say that anything with Tim Allen counts towards any worst movie list. Ok, I'll make and exception for Galaxy Quest.
- strum40, on 11/15/2007, -4/+30How is Ernest Saves Christmas not on this list? You know what I mean?
- jogleby, on 11/15/2007, -0/+22Does Jack Frost count? In how many other movies does a woman get raped with a carrot by a snowman?
- fluidfoundation, on 11/15/2007, -0/+18Ah, Earnest Goes To Heaven. We miss ya, good buddy.
- Jambi, on 11/15/2007, -0/+15Wait a sec, a movie where James Gandolfini beats the crap out of Ben Affleck with a shovel (see the article for the shot) is the worst Christmas movie of all time? If it could've added Gandofini running over Tim Allen with a snow plow, I'd nominate it for a belated Oscar.
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -0/+15You may need to clarify, there's a recent romantic comedy by the same name, starring Michael Keaton as the snowman, where that also happens.
- Nev9, on 11/15/2007, -2/+16'Kiss Saves Santa' should be the best Christmas movie
- mrsneakypat, on 11/15/2007, -2/+15I'd say the best Christmas movie is A Christmas Story.
- MioTheGreat, on 11/15/2007, -0/+12What are you talking about? Galaxy Quest was a great movie.
- JTJ1210, on 11/15/2007, -1/+13You might want to make an exception for the Toy Story movies.
- Scully1981, on 11/15/2007, -1/+13Because it's a good movie?
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -2/+12christmas with the kranks was the only movie i have ever walked out on. i punched my gf in her vagina after making me go to that god-awful movie
- Bartboy919, on 11/15/2007, -2/+12Good Christmas Movie: Christmas Vacation
- berb, on 11/15/2007, -2/+12Agreed, it is easily the best Christmas comedy of all time.
- smurfz, on 11/15/2007, -1/+11LOL! How many Christmas movies is Tim Allen in?
- mal5305, on 11/15/2007, -0/+9what about 'Santa with Muscles'???? c'mon...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117550/ - skyfire1, on 11/15/2007, -2/+11Jingle all the Way was awesome. Come on guys, Arnold uses a jet pack. A JET PACK!
- REUYL, on 11/15/2007, -1/+9Change "Turbo Man" to "Wii" and Jingle All The Way applies to Christmas 2006.
- NoAccounting4me, on 11/15/2007, -2/+9No Digg... how on earth can you overlook "Silent Night, Deadly Night"? It takes a special kind of person to think 'Hey, what if we tried to make a horror/slasher film like Halloween, but using Christmas instead?"
- johnnycheeks, on 11/15/2007, -0/+6Woah woah woah! Back the train up here. Did this reviewer just say that Gremlins "sucked ass" in the 2nd paragraph? I'm sorry, but that was just uncalled for. :(
- OnionBaggage, on 11/15/2007, -1/+7I like Surviving Christmas... Ben Affleck being a douche, whats not to love.
- JokersWild, on 11/15/2007, -5/+10and how could anybody miss the Star Wars Holiday Special???
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Star_Wars_Holiday ... - boredaghast, on 11/15/2007, -0/+5***** movie: Christmas Vacation 2.
Yes it exists.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0367623/ - TheNik, on 11/15/2007, -0/+5Okay, so, he says the last good live-action movie with Matthew Broderick was Election. Apparently The Producers doesn't count for him because Mel Brooks is a genius.
- Yaanu, on 11/15/2007, -1/+5Speaking of FJR, I got my Stop Dane Cook ribbon the other day. Anyone else?
- stray, on 11/15/2007, -4/+8Best two movies: Scrooged ("The bitch hit me with a toaster.") and The Ref ("You know what this family needs? A mute.")
Prove me wrong. - giveer, on 11/15/2007, -1/+5Geez, nearly everyone has said "How is [insert movie] not on this list?" Me thinks they should've made it a top 20 list. 30 even.
- quizman, on 11/15/2007, -1/+5Best Christmas Movie of All Time - Muppets Christmas Carol
- inactive, on 11/15/2007, -1/+51. Surviving Christmas was actually funny! I thought it was gonna be bad because of Ben...
- theblooms, on 11/15/2007, -2/+6Die Hard
Die Hard 2
- theblooms, on 11/15/2007, -0/+4What about Silent Night Deadly Night 5? That was pretty damn bad!
- MacEnvy, on 11/15/2007, -0/+4Because it's awesome. No seriously. At a certain point, every terrible movie steps over the line and becomes great again. For more information, please see "The Evil Dead".
- NinjaPig, on 11/15/2007, -1/+5Best Christmas Movie of all time: Jingle all the Way
- MacEnvy, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3It's simultaneously the worst Christmas movie, and the best MST3K episode, ever.
- dxgg, on 02/05/2008, -0/+3Haven't seen any of them. Heat Miser told me not to.
- ShugNinx21, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3Torgo and his cloven hooves approve.
- drachemorder, on 11/15/2007, -1/+4In the honorable mentions section.
- TomTruelle, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3ok, peter griffin
- xOKxWhy, on 11/15/2007, -1/+4Too many
- soothslayer, on 11/15/2007, -0/+3This is a terrible list. There are much worse out there.
The Magic Christmas Tree for one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0195039/ - giveer, on 11/15/2007, -1/+3The Worst Christmas Movie for Me: Actually, this was one of the first movies I recall ever seeing that I recognized as being f*ckingly bad: Babes in Toyland. How that movie even made sense to any 8 year old who wasn't stoned is beyond me.
- VaporBro, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2I'm not a pervert! I was just looking for Turbo Man doll!
- mlfoley, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2I'll always have a soft spot for the Ernest Christmas movie. It's not a "good" movie per se, but it was never meant to be. It was just meant to be a goofy, fun comedy, that's all.
- ShugNinx21, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2Good call, I've seen both and they are both disturbing.
- Nerfdude, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2i host a christmas-themed horror movie night every year between christmas and new years called Chillin' and Killin'. yes, bad name.
this year is Santa Claws and Silent Night Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out. believe me, there are worse christmas movies than the ones in this list. - mlfoley, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2Anyone who says that Gremlins "sucked ass" is instantly disqualified from making any further statements on movies.
- Gir53457, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2How many Christmases have there been?
- ShugNinx21, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2They have shown that movie so many times during my lifetime that I want to punch zuzu in the face and I hope that maybe this year Jimmy Stewart's character will actually go through with it this time.
