2. Toy Story

Dugg for Tom Hanks, burried for 4 pages and burried for Toy Story 1 and 2 being #2 and #1. - bixby1, on 05/14/2009, -1/+28The man convinced us, once and for all, that there is no crying in baseball.
- atdigg, on 05/15/2009, -2/+26Right, cause Toy Story is a better movie than Saving Private Ryan... *roll eyes*
- bmkalbf, on 05/14/2009, -1/+13Lieutenant Dan...Ice Creeaam
- bubbameister33, on 05/14/2009, -1/+12***** Rotten Tomatoes!
- WVUDoss, on 05/15/2009, -0/+10That must be the Top Ten Without Forrest Gump and Green Mile
WTF - luke16, on 05/15/2009, -0/+7No Road to Perdition?!?!?!?!?
In my opinion, that is one of his best movies.
Note: Great soundtrack too. Done by Thomas Newman, same guy who done Shawshank Redemption.
Anyway, watch him shoot james bond in the face http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L8JIN9_K-8 - plainOldFool, on 05/14/2009, -2/+9Buried for the omission of Bachelor Party
- alanocu, on 05/14/2009, -1/+8'Saving Ryan's Privates' was good, and I know that 'Bosom Buddies' was just a sitcom, but 'The Money Pit' rocked. He and Shelley Long - still laughing - great movie.
- specialknfnd, on 05/15/2009, -1/+7Yeah, I went thru that list three times looking for it. I was also expecting Philadelphia to be on there too.
- gametavern, on 05/15/2009, -0/+6What a ***** list.
- gametavern, on 05/15/2009, -0/+5Were the other two better?
- inactive, on 05/15/2009, -1/+6No mention of The Burbs? Buried so hard.
- mastercosby, on 05/15/2009, -3/+8How is Saving Private Ryan not #1? I guess I should have known not to trust rotten tomatoes when Star Wars Episode 3 was the highest rated of the three prequels.
- qwsxz, on 05/15/2009, -0/+5No "Philadelphia"?
He won an Oscar! - philkav, on 05/15/2009, -0/+4So from this is see that there is no :
- Forset Gump
- Philidelphia
- Green Mile
Plus i'm pretty sure he had a part in the simpsons movie
And Saving private Ryan came 6th??? - 2Pharcyded, on 05/15/2009, -1/+5yeah that was dumb. rotten tomatoes is a great source to see a lot of different opinions, but that was was just dumb
- inactive, on 05/15/2009, -0/+4No Bachelor Party?
- Grolsch, on 05/15/2009, -0/+4I thought its gonna be #1.....
- gametavern, on 05/15/2009, -0/+4*****. You. No. Forrest. Gump. No Green Mile, no Money Pit. Buried to hell!
- Jhorra, on 05/15/2009, -1/+4They didn't choose the order, they went by how good it's reviews were.
- bbtrev, on 05/15/2009, -0/+3You're telling me that "A League of their Own" got better reviews than Forrest Gump?
Bullcrap - IRaphy, on 05/15/2009, -0/+3My List:
10. A league of Their Own
9. Catch Me if you Can
8. The Green Mile
7. Charlie Wilson's War
6. Road To Perdition
5. Philadelphia
4. Big
3. Forrest Gump
2. Apollo 13
1. Saving Private Ryan - lokee73, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2How come these lists never talk about the exemplary work he did on Bosom Buddies?
I know it was TV, but still... - inactive, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2PIZZA DUDE!
- Pasqualz, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2The roles that Hanks has played in his brilliant career are truly as varied as a box of chocolates. . .
- petebot, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2THE MAN WITH ONE RED SHOE. And yes, the Burbs is awesome.
- IRaphy, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2***** you
- 7m7uf, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2Forest Gump? Burbs? Green mile?
That list sucks, i'm surprised Turner and Hooch wasn't their #1! - deadapostle, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Clearly the Tomatometer needs to be reconfigured.
- crilen007, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1We can bitch about whatever we want to bitch about.
- rpgmakr, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1I used to trust rottentomatoes a lot but I don't do it that much anymore. Nor since I found out they have first "Butterfly effect" movie was classified as "rotten" by the site.
- Gr1nch, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Cuz' I was a Gazillionare and I liked doin' it so much...I cut that grass fo' free.
- socomoddjob, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Buried...did a 7 year old decide this list?
No Forrest Gump...which is easily number 1 here. Toy story? GTFO. I would put the terminal on this list as well.... - Gr1nch, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1HEY! Where's "You've got mail" that was a classic!
/s - danwallace, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Oh dear god.
- jba68, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Sad for No Forrest
- jstem1994, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1No ‘Burbs or Bachelor Party? Thanks for saving me 4 pages of waste.
- Kruse, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1I stopped reading as soon as they labeled The 'Burbs a "turkey". That movie was funny as hell, and underappreciated.
- danwallace, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Maybe that's because it was a ***** movie starring Kelso that wishes it was Donnie Darko?
- jba68, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1watch it
- Jhorra, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1I'm not saying it's a good metric, just a fact of the article. I heard one person explain well why these types of articles aren't very good. The critics review on a curve, where they might give the Hannah Montana movie a good review because it wasn't mind numbing garbage they expected, they might actually be a little more critical of a movie that was a lot better simply because they were expecting more.
Either way, review aggregation probably isn't the best metric to determine which were the best. - jefbob, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1and Turner and Hooch?
- inactive, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1Cast Away, That Thing You Do, and Splash were good, but Forrest Gump was epic. It was definitely his best film.
- jba68, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1man I forgot the burbs. I need to watch that again. Those neighbors creep me out
- tdogg241, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1That's like saying getting punched in the face is better than a kick in the balls or a golf club to the shin.
- inactive, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1*****, you following me around? Get a job.
Of course it was a ***** answer, I made it up as I went along. The real answer is related to light not displacing any air, has nothing to do with its speed. Go follow someone else, fag. - deadapostle, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1I though you said "Boson Buddies."
They could remake it with a new twist. Tom Hanks works at CERN and creates a Higgs Boson, which pulls an alternate version of himself from another universe. The alternate Hanks character could be played by David Duchovny in drag. -
