- Frizbe72, on 10/06/2008, -9/+51Why on Earth would you pirate Indiana Jones 4? It was not a good movie and I refuse to acknowledge it as such!
I left the cinema feeling like Spielberg and Lucas had taken it in turns to repeatedly kick me in the groin - matt.rubin, on 10/06/2008, -2/+43hence people don't what to spend money on it. The Indiana is still a trilogy in my eyes.
- Chahrlie5, on 10/06/2008, -7/+41why the hell is this front page?

Educational? really?
Also, are these the top 10 downloaded today? this month? week? year? what exactly? - threepm, on 10/06/2008, -2/+19Indiana Jones also tops the charts as one of the worst movie sequels ever made.

- mikbunn, on 10/06/2008, -3/+13That they don't want to pay for that piece of crap...
but will watch it again. - inactive, on 10/06/2008, -4/+14They're cheap bastards?
- mcphatty, on 10/06/2008, -0/+10College? Really?
C'mon guys, that movie was crap. - Bunner007, on 10/06/2008, -1/+10Adam Sandler inherits like, a billion dollars, but first he has to, become a boxer or something?
- matt.rubin, on 10/06/2008, -0/+9go boy! go find it!
- cawpin, on 10/06/2008, -0/+9"Thought some of the sequences were unrealistic? Did you see any of the previous three at all? "
That was my exact argument for Transformers. People kept saying the movie had no plot. It had more plot than the entire series of the cartoon. A standard Transformers episode was basically this: 1. Stupidly easy task 2. Bunch of fighting 3. Autobots win.
The movie rocked, plain and simple. I don't know what people were trying to make it. - explnx, on 04/27/2009, -2/+11I don't understand all of the hate here. People who actually try to explain why they don't like it end up sounding really petty.
Shia Lebeouf has been in crappy movies? Ad-Hominem argument. He was actually good in this one.
Thought some of the sequences were unrealistic? Did you see any of the previous three at all?
I think people were doomed by nostalgia to be disappointed. - hnazareth16, on 10/06/2008, -1/+8The take-away from this list is this: somewhere in cyberspace there is a DVD screener of The Dark Knight.
- getoffmybridge, on 05/05/2009, -1/+8Rob Schneider is..........a stapler!!!
- roxgod666, on 10/06/2008, -0/+7I think you just insulted 99% of digg...including yourself
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -1/+8People who like crappy comedies and chick flicks dont know how to work a computer.
They will make lots more crappy comedies and chick flicks because they dont get pirated as much. - Beatmiser, on 10/06/2008, -1/+8Truth be told- I took my 57 year old father to see it because he and I went and saw them all when I was a kid growing up. I realized about half way through when he was laughing, occasionally clapping and genuinely having fun- that sometimes, you just need to let go of things and enjoy.
And doing that- I loved it. - inactive, on 10/06/2008, -0/+6yeah because its not like people can download dvd or blu-ray movies or anything....
- jnuffnuffnomnom, on 10/06/2008, -6/+12They enjoy go karts?
- DragonForce4, on 10/06/2008, -0/+6The top 10 most downloaded movies on BitTorrent, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” tops the chart this week.

hmmm I wonder - skipdog172, on 10/06/2008, -3/+9cuz folks dugg it !
- SpectralSounds, on 10/06/2008, -1/+6Usually all of the freaky scenes in the original Indiana Jones were based on mythological/religious or fantasy type situations.
The Ark spewing out ghosts to kill people.
Pulling still beating hearts out of chests in a ritual sacrifice.
Holy Grail healing a wound and people living well past their age because of it.
They also pushed the boundaries of the improbable. Running from big boulders, beating up people on planes, taking scary mine car rides and drinking blood that turns you crazy. I could list a lot more.
The 4th movie went away from the "psuedo-realistic" scenes sprinkled with religious craziness.
This movie went for Shia swinging on vines after trucks that were clearly way ahead of him, while monkeys somehow befriend him and know exactly who the bad guys are when they all flawlessly land in the vehicles.
This movie went for killer ants who swarm people and suck them down a huge ant hole, apparently big enough that the ants are dragging people down there all the time.
Super magnetic objects that only react to metal when it's convenient for the story. For one thing, if it was that magnetic, as soon as it got near a car, it would be stuck to the ***** car. You wouldnt be moving it away from the car.
This movie was MUCH more difficult to have the suspension of disbelief than any of the other 3 movies. Mostly because they went away from the spiritual and into the realm of the every day norm. Surviving a nuclear explosion in a fridge? Come on. - Datix, on 10/06/2008, -4/+9This list will change with the release of Nailin' Paylin. (NSFW)
http://www.wwtdd.com/post.phtml?pk=12971 - mrallen86, on 10/06/2008, -0/+4What's even the point of mentioning it? Those who have it know about it, those who don't can't register. All you've done here is rub it in the face of people like me who can't find an invite. Ass.
- snotrokit, on 10/06/2008, -0/+4believe it or not, I am actually buying Ironman, Dark Night, and Indy. I would much rather just pop the dvd into my 7.1 surround sound and enjoy it on the big(ger) screen with a beer and pizza or something. That is worth my $20. Death Race, Hulk, etc. Not so much. Maybe Netflix for those.
- raada, on 10/06/2008, -0/+4Crappy movies for people who wouldn't pay to see them...
- BIGJOE1975, on 10/06/2008, -0/+4Don't forget McCain popping some viagra, then giving her the "Straight Talk Express"!
- shandromand, on 10/06/2008, -1/+5Indy I can forgive, Iron Man I can understand (but c'mon, go buy it, seriously - it's worth it), but Babylon AD?? Why, God, WHY!? That movie sucked so bad it shouldn't even rate in the top 20, let alone the top 5.
- KIERANMULLEN, on 10/06/2008, -1/+5The aliens kinda ruined the whole thing...
- BoogieManOh, on 10/06/2008, -0/+4Because everything from torrentfreak gets on, no matter how lame.
- ToastPop, on 04/17/2009, -0/+4Ohhhh THAT'S how Digg works! I see this question a lot, a lot of people don't seem to realize it!
- SurrealDream, on 10/06/2008, -1/+4It'll be better once they replace Indy's whip with a giant gummy worm.
- VivaLaUndead, on 10/06/2008, -1/+4Torrentfreak post this every week as well as television torrents. What makes this one special enough for front page?
- borez, on 10/06/2008, -2/+5That they like movies?
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -1/+4They like action/sci-fi movies.
- GuertyMof, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3Because you can get a high-quality BluRay rip 2 weeks BEFORE the movie comes out.
- SpectralSounds, on 10/06/2008, -2/+5They want to watch the atrocity that is Shia with his army of monkeys, swinging through the forest tarzan style, to attack the bad guys.
- Tayls, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3That's a whoooole lotta pirates with a whoooole lotta bad taste.
- BIGJOE1975, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3got it, got it need it, got it, need it .... :-)
- 2Bnor2B, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3Strangely, I understand music and software piracy but just can not relate it to movies. Maybe I am just getting old, but why even bother with poor quality of movie torrents when you can get the DVD on Netflix a few months after the release.
- Bob24, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3Except for those in the Caribbean.
- homechicken, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3"We do not link to actual torrent files because linking to files that link to files that may be copyrighted is something that might get us in trouble. "
Dugg a story that links to a site that relies on sites that DO link to files that link to files that may be copyrighted....guess I need a lawyer. - Huangism, on 10/06/2008, -0/+3it's because the movie is not that good but interesting enough that you wanna see it - that's why people download it
- yosserhughes, on 10/06/2008, -0/+2I don't know if it's just the fact that you get more discerning as you get older, but in the last 10 or 15 years, and apart for the odd exception, movies in general are a complete waste of time and money. Have the studios run out of ideas? It seems if you take out the explosions, the CGI, the pretty boys and bimbos, movies are totally devoid of any entertainment value whatsoever.
When was the last movie you saw that you recalled with pleasure a few weeks later. They are no more than chewing gum for the eyes; and to top it all, Paul Newman is gone. - LocalDocal, on 10/06/2008, -0/+2It's called 'covering your ass'.
